Do you guys believe in fortune telling? Have you tried one and noticed that it came true? Personally I've tried it because my aunt is a fortune teller and she told me I will pass all my exams. I don't know if it has any connection with her fortune telling, but when I took 3 major exams - Philippines Local Nursing Board, NCLEX-RN (California), and IELTS, I passed all. =) It happened last year 2009. The fortune telling happened by the year 2008.

It depends, but I believe it just a coincidence. Sometimes their predictions are true but sometimes it does not always accurate. My bf's grandmother is actually a fortune teller too that she was able to read my palm and foot. After reading my palm she told me that I could achieve something then after that my foot she told me that I am brave. But it does not mean that I am just going to rely on it by not doing anything. I will do something and work hard of what she have told me.

Nope I believe all that is nonsense it's just a coincidence believe me. The reason you passed is because you must have worked, it's not like it was impossible to pass all your exams. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, your aunt seems deluded if she's serious that she can fortune tell.

oh, what a say! well, to clear it. aunt didn't say her words will happen, but she just shared it to me. Every time she does a fortune telling, she tells me not to believe because it was only for fun and fortune always change.

One should always be careful when delving into things like fortune telling. They can become addictive. They are not a way to rule you life. The people who do fortune telling do so by tricking you into telling them just enough to make educated guesses. You are most likely a very good student so it was an easy guess to predict that you would do well on your exams. If you ever start going to one that charges you money, you can end up losing a lot of hard earned cash for nothing. Shalom~Adoniah

I have been getting an constant email about getting my fortune told by a well-known psychic. I never submitted any information yet. Last year, my husband has been acting very shady with me. So, I contacted a psychic and explained what was going on. She said that she will perform a love spell for me. The love spell would only work within a couple of weeks. And obviously she did perform one.. My husband's attitude towards me has changed. He is acting much more better. His love for me has grown so stronger. I can feel it. I don't have any doubts about our relationship that I used to have. We still go through our trials and tribulations that the society gives unto us. But we both are happy and very much in love. During this time, I feel that this psychic was very much real. Many people don't believe in this kind of thing, but I believe in it.. You will know who is the real psychic and the fake psychic. For you to pass all of your exams with flying colors, your aunt must have had to knew what she was indeed talking about. Congratulations on passing them all.

Well, I've had a fortune teller tell me I was going to be well-to-do and I'm still trying to figure out when that's gonna happen. But I am rich in other areas of my life. So in a sense, the lady was right. I wish she had been more specific as in "by x age, you will have $10M sitting in your bank account.

u'll get the right prophecy if u meet the right and good fortune teller. they will tell u the right things and u can believe them. But u can also meet faking fortune teller, they will have random word about you... So, there is a good tip: just listen to what they say first about ur life, if right, continue to listen.

Can I meet your aunt? ...Kidding aside, I never tried it actually, but there's this man, we call him A-pe (uncle in Chinese), a buddhist and known to have extraordinary abilities. He did not guarantee though that it will come true and warned me that my future depends on how I make it. He told me that I may get pregnant first before I get marry. I'm 30 and never get impregnate and unmarried....Until now, am still thinking when will that happen. I am supposed to get marry this coming October, but will not push through because I broke up with my fiancee.... I cannot tell if I believe or not about fortune tellers not until I experience it myself or prove it. In your case, I guess that was just a coincidence because your aunt can sense that you can make it.

sometimes i tend to believe on some fortune tellings but not really 100% that i do believe. i had experienced that on my part also that they became true after a year that i had a fortune telling session. it's way discouraging sometimes. basically, only God knows what would happen in our future. we might just live the way God wants us to live. :-)

I dont believe in fortune telling. Do you think you would not have passed if you would not have seen the fortune. I know that you would definately have put in your efforts.

Fortune telling is a gift by God!!! But most of the fortune tellers are very commercial and they are business minded... Good Fortune teller always be very True and sure the thing will be happen as he/she told... Major fortune tellers are getting escaped because of the coincidence of their tellings and the happenings!!!

Fortune telling I think is just talking about probability of how things will happen, considering the situation. For example, maybe you are really an intelligent person. If so, even I who is not a fortune teller can say that you'll pass your all exams.

Its just a coincidence. Passing board exams is not by fortune but its by hard work , dedication and trust to God.

hushi-- Your success in three major examination followed by your aunt's fortune telling is really unbealievanle. because one should not beleive in this fortune . as there is no exact predictor of fortune other than your own fate. since, it happened that you have passed your examination , you have written that personally i have tried and you are not still confident to write that yes, i beleive . did u beleive really ? just ask your mind and then say. no body will .. because happenning of a thing is entirely depend upon situations and blessings of the creator. if your time is good , everything will work good and if your time is wrong , even you walk you may face accident. in india , these kind of fotune tellers are roaming in every cities and making money . they just need a beleiving heart or fooly people . i hope i have clarified the position of fortune tellers. i did not mean to say that your aunt is or has fooled you . had u have not passed in your examination , just think wht could have happened . you might have even hatred your aunt . so kindly have faith in god and do not follow any fortune aspects. if u come across any just hear and digest and try to put your problems to creator i.e., god

Hi hushi22, some of my friends who are smart and good in studying during our middle school days. They never failed in their examination for they are intelligent and hard working as well. what they lack of was confidence. They were always afraid that they couldn’t reach the goat set. Other than praying at the nearby temple, they used to seeking confidence from the fortune teller whom they were familiar with in the same temple. I knew this very well, for I was always asked to accompany one of my close classmates when she visited the fortune teller. She was excellent in all her academy results of course. She was really fortunate that saying from the same fortune teller was positive. If not might be it would affect her exam result I think. Some say people who believe genuinely the forecast of the fortune teller, most probably the prediction would come to true later. I feel reluctant to visit any fortune teller for I’m afraid that what the auspicious things wouldn’t come true but the bad prediction would accomplish. This would put me in a helpless and awful situation. I couldn’t tolerate such uneasy feeling and I refuse to bring trouble to myself. I did my study as usual during my school days even sitting for government exam as I felt reluctant to pay for the extra fortune telling expenses. I prefer to spend it on snacks Have a nice day!

Wow! Good for you. Can you PM me on how to reach your aunt? I'm in need of a good fortune teller now. I had experienced 2 years of not-so-good luck. I know things are starting to become better for me but it is too slow and my husband is in need of things to change with regards to finances. Maybe your aunt can help us. Looking forward to hear from you.

hello there hushi! congratulations to you my friend! you are such a busy nurse and an intelligent mylotter that's why i don't have doubts that you can't pass those major exams ahead of you. i guess fortune telling doesn't have anything to do with it. it is all up to you.if you know yourself that you have prepared for that examinations, you'll surely pass those.without knowing the fortune telling stuffs. but it's really amazing when those fortune telling came true even if we don't do anything about it. i have known a person who can tell fortune stuffs, but i don't know if it will happen.she said something about my future, which is i think really far from reality, but who knows,it may all come true, right? there's no harm in believing!

Yes I believe. When I was little my mom was just playing around pretending she was one, and that I would grow up to be a very famous woman with a nice house that I owned and things like that. Then she wanted me to tell her her fortune... Well I did...but I felt strange when I went to make things up like she did...All the thoughts in my mind went away and instead I told her that her father will not let her use the truck and that he will tell her he doesnt want to speak to her ever again. She looked shocked and told me and my sister to go to sleep. The next week mom came home in tears, she had went to ask to use his truck to move some of our stuff to a buliding, and he got mad and told her what I had told her...my mom wouldnt look or talk to me for the next week I havent tried since, I dont know if was just consequence or if I really did tell the fortune. But yeah I still believe in them, though its hard to find a true one now days.

I honestly can say that I do believe in fortune telling and i know that there are a lot of people that are gifted to see things. I have had my fortune read a few times but something that I no longer do because after getting a closer relationship with God I learned that it was not the right thing to do. Depending on which translation of the Bible that you read, the words "fortune telling" may not even appear. However they even have persons within the church that are Prophets and also speak of futures events but the church doesn't look down on that because it is done in the spiritual way. I still think that for each it's own and if that is what you want to do there is nothing wrong with that.
