As me, everything should be haven some main features. They will be promoted their the best features. If you want to take a photo, you could use a camera. If you want to listen to music, you could use an iPod etc...Do you think so?

Hello Tkonlinevn. I agree with you but the mobile phone became such a must have gadget that manufacturers had to do radical things to stay ahead of the competition, so that's why phones grew to have so many features. First we had the colour screen then we had the camera phone, now we have hundreds of different things to choose from on smart phones. I'm happy with my simple mobile phone, it does what it says on the box and I'm happy with that :)

Hi AutumnGold. I know about that. But I only want to express my feeling about everything. I am using a simple mobile phone of Nokia. I love it. I hope that I can have other things which is very best in their main features. I am glad when I know that there is a person whom like the simple things like me, hihi.

It would be more convenient if you'll be bringing one gadget with all the features that you need. Why bring a separate camera when your cellphone got a 10 MP photo feature? and same for ipods when ur phone can handle up 8-16GB ? ;)

I don't carry a camera around, but I do have my phone, and I like that I can take pictures with it, there have been times, like my mother's birthday last year, where my brother forgot the camera, but I had my phone

I know different people have different needs. Just because one person wants everything in their cell phone doesn't mean everybody in the world want the same thing. I tend to agree with you in that everybody should pick a phone according to their needs. Because of my work, I can't really sit in one spot too long & I tend to travel a lot. But one of the main communication tools we use is email. Since I can't really open up my laptop every place I go, a phone that can do that would help me a lot. One of my friend works for an insurance company. Sometimes he needs to go out to an accident site or go to a house that had a fire. He needs to take pictures & send it to his adjuster. His blackberry works great for him. My mother has hard time checking voice mail let alone text messages. All she uses her phone for is to talk on it.

Many people buy a phone for 400$ and don't have an idea of what it can do. All it's features are incapable for anyone to discover. A phone is a thing which you use to call and message. That should be it.

Each gadget has its very own special feature. The cell phones however, manufacturer only finds a value added commodity on the existing product. For example, a phone that could take pictures, surf the internet and read e-mails, play i-tunes etc. Well, just because a phone has many features, it doesn't mean that its necessarily the best in its feature.
