I like them both but i prefer facebook over twitter because i have more friends using facebook and it's more robust as i can share my pics easier than twitter. and its so much nicer to interact at facebook as you can easily respond or comment on any shoutout that is interesting to you. and i usually use it to give important and interesting information or pictures to my friends. keeps them up-to-date, at least on some things that i'm up to. same thing with them.

I'd rather be on facebook. However twitter is a lot simpler than facebook, its not that interesting for many. Its basically good for those who don't have time for too many things to do online. Or for those who just to post updates and rather not get too involved with other stuff like - apps, comments, pics etc. I like facebook.

I am pretty indifferent to both of them to tell you the truth. They have their uses, but it is not something that I would suffer if I can live without them. I think practically speaking, Twitter is something that I use a bit more than Facebook. Twitter allows me to get various things that I am doing out there and maybe get a couple of referrals to my website. I do think that Facebook is something that is great to reconnect with old friends. People that I have not heard from in years, people that I do not remember but it is interesting to see what they are up to after all of these years. Still a lot of the time, both websites are something that is used not too often on my part. When I have a use for them, I use them but there are times where I can go weeks and weeks without using either.

I like facebook more because all of my friends are there - on twitter, I have very few followers and it's quit boring

###First of all### Creating a Poll as a discussion is against the terms of use! But lets answer. I preffer Twitter. I don't need to grow watermelons online that I can't eat! I like to let my friends know about my location, my vacation photo RIGHT IN THE TIME I TAKE THEM, and what I am doing.

I prefer facebook. I do have a twitter, but I only updated it like, three times before getting bored with it. I feel like there are more options with facebook.

For online publications, Twitter is more ideal. Since I have a lot of blog publications, I also have a lot of Twitter accounts. So far, I have 25+ and I'm planning to have more. For personal purposes, Facebook is the choice of many internet users. I actually have only one Facebook account which I use to keep in touch with my classmates from elementary to college. Technically, Twitter and Facebook are two different web services. So, the supposed competition between the two is really just a red herring. If you are a website designer or online publisher, Twitter will satisfy your needs. If you are an end-user, Facebook will satisfy your needs. There is practically no overlap.
