Definitely yes! That's my answer to your question. I have experienced having my back pay/ separation pay delayed for a few months before even getting a hold of it. It was in a call center too. It felt awful because after resigning, I was planning to review for further exams on my chosen field and preparing for the licensure exams yet I wasn't able to get a hold of my pay as soon as I got out of there. I think it took me a month or two before getting paid. They said, the HR are quite busy with a lot of things and it just so happened that the manager I was under was alson on vacation. I was almost broke and luckily, I had my parents support. Hopefully, this wont ever happen to me ever again.

chipesterkhan in a case like that here in the US we have a labor board we can go to to protest unfair treatment and not giving your back pay is certainly unfair treatment. I do not know if you have anything like that where you are but I would sure look into some sort of labor protection for employees service and see if you cannot pressure you ex boss to give you the money that is due you. I have never had any problem like that as I worked for the county in the county library system. hope you can get it straightened out soon. good luck and God bless.
