Do You Still Buy and Send Postcards When You Go On Vacation?

I like to send my family back in Arkansas postcards of attractions that I go to out here in California. But the last 2 places I have been have had really bad postcards and their other souvenirs weren't much better. So I wondered if people still buy and send postcards to friends and family while on vacation. If people don't send postcards that would explain the lack of good postcards to buy. So I was wondering do you still buy and send postcards when you go on vacation? And if you do, do you find that there is still a good selection of postcards available out there?

I buy them as cheap souvenirs, but I rarely send cards. My sister sent three to us in the eight weeks she was in Italy this summer, and a few to her boyfriend. I think there's still a good selection, as long as you're looking for photos of big tourist spots.

I guess so. I did find some good ones in Europe, Vegas and New Orleans.

Well, i still buy them, but for souvenir purposes... and I agree.. the quality has dwindled.... its no longer the good stuff like genuine experience cards.. its corny stuff like "my friend, sister, mother went to country x and all i got was this card" or some silly popular or cliche saying....

I know, really. And most of them aren't pretty, one place I went was a museum and instead of having nice pictures of the exhibits all they had was pictures of the outside of the building which was boring.
