I always thought it was the other way around. Men like looking at two women, whereas men looking at two men was gross. Either way I am sure they have their difficulties. I know homosexual men and lesbians joke about each other. My brother is homosexual and his friends would talk about the lesbian bars being more tough than a homosexual bar.

In my opinion,both were accepted with the society.
Only that gays are more often spoken of compared to lesbians.
Maybe becoz gays are more successful with their careers.
I am not saying that lesbians are not successful.
What i mean is,gays are more popular with their professions as hairdresser,fashion designer which is the trend and what this celebrity world is looking for.
But i believed that both were accepted by this modern world.

yeah I believe you're right, gays are more successful in their chosen profession.but in all the aspect, i don't know much about lesbian career and success. I don't see much acceptance for them in my point of view.Do u see them dominating the careers and professions?

I'm not sure it's true that gays are more accepted. However, I think guys tend to be more laid back about their sexuality. They aren't as in your face, whereas most of the lesbians I've met are 100% manhaters. I know that's not everyone, but my sister is gay and all her friends are real haters. They are VERY in your face and constantly putting men down, whereas gay men tend to leave women alone or even be friends with them. Maybe that's it?

What makes you think that? No they aren't! Atleast not in the Philippines. Lesbians are just the same as gays. They are treated the same, as homosexuals.

well, that's just my observation. I know a lot of people who have gay friends but don't like lesbians. that's why they are more accepted.if given a survey, i believe gays win more acceptance than lesbian even here in Philippines. Though as i've mention just my opinion

Gays are still not that acceptable in the society nowadays. They are still being mocked because of there perverted acts. but then they are more visible in the society nowadays that is why you thought they are being accepted. It is also because more and more gays are admitting that they are gay rather than girls who admit that they are a lesbian. Just being themselves and being honest to themselves sets them free and that is the reason why acceptance from other or some people may be seen. That is my own opinion.
