is Amazon.com or Ebay.com better?

What are the pros and cons of the sites? Is one have more stuff for sale? Is one safer than the other one? Is one faster that the other site? I know Amazon.com started as like a book selling website but i don't know what Ebay.com started as, do you know? Is it easer to sell things on one than the other?

It depends on what you're buying, you can find good deals on both Amazon and eBay, it just depends on what you're looking for. I'll buy from Amazon more often than eBay, but there are some things that are less on eBay.
