mistaken identity

I used to playfully punch at the arm or hug a friend from the back when ever i saw them. Whether there are other people around as long as i saw them first i usually does that. Just this morning, i thought i saw an old friend talking to my landlady. Without any thinking i hug him from the back and says 'Hello father how are you?' that' how i call my friends that are much older than me. Yes! He was not my friend he was another guy that i dont know. What a shame. I said sorry and he is smiling. :(
