how will i fix my computer, the program was affected by virus?

after i had my maternity leave for three months, i am now back for work. i find out that the computer i have at the office is being affected by a virus. i think, my officemate who took charge temporarily of my work used an infected USB without having it scanned. i cannot connect with some social website like facebook. anybody there, who have an idea on how do i fix this?

1st option, scan with antivirus and last option, reformat your pc. I'm just curious, do you have an IT personnel at your office? If so, let him fix this issue.

Since it is a computer at work, the failure to browse social networking sites such as facebook may due to restrictions. You should ask your internet moderators for that. Yes, a virus may also be the cause, in that case re-installation of software may be recommended. Have a nice day. Happy myLotting!

thanks for the response, but it is not due to restrictions because it is only my computer which cannot connect me to this sites. the computers of my officemates can connect them with those sites. does re installation of softwares will take time to do?

I would suggest something more better than this but I suck with computers. All I can suggest is asking your boss or someone in your office to help you with this. For this is not really your fault. $-MrDollars-$
