I happen to like Runescape. It's a medieval fantasy RPG with thousands of player interacting on each world. You can try it out for free @ http://www.runescape.com/title.ws

There are so many games to choose from! I have played numerous games in my years of gaming experience, but one clearly stands apart from others with teamwork. www.boi.perfectworld.com BOI, or Battle of Immortals, created by Perfect World is a fantastic choice. I will list a few of the great teamwork features: -Guilds with plenty of players to make friends with -"Group" function: Up to 6 players can form a group, the more players, the more exp -In fighting, group members can pile a monster and all get the kill -There are incredible bosses that are extremely difficult to fight alone -Daily quests that give tremendous rewards yield the best results when completed with more people in your group However, there is a single drawback. You need to be careful not to get yourself or your son addicted to the game. It is truly a game to immerse yourself in. The game promotes long playing hours as well as teamwork. Longer hours can earn you a bonus reward, but do not fall victim to this incentive. Play normally and be careful not to over strain your eyes. Last, but not least, have fun!

It wont be on the pc, but gears of war is a third person shooter, and it is very good. The problem is you would both have to have your own xbox 360, which could be very expensive. I play a first person shooter (not quite what you were looking for, but bare with me) called counterstrike source. Its a fairly cheap game (as it is getting old now), and has loads of populated servers, like over 4000. Its cheap, its fun, and its so so good!

You may try different 3rd person games that I did enjoy during my teen age years. Here are some of it: 1) Diablo I 2) Diablo II 3) Sacred 4) Neverwinter Nights I'm an RPG addict that's why most of what I have suggested belongs to the RPG genre. I hope that you and your son enjoy it.

Sacred 2, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Halo, ETC it really depends on what kind of genre of games you and your son would like to play.
