What is your stand with homosexual relationship?

Homosexuals like heterosexuals and any other being in the world have the right to have a decent relationship and definitely have the the right to love. They must be given due respect and don't deserve any act of discrimination. Like any other beings, homosexuals have the right to live and most of all right to love without being reprimanded and discriminated by other people.

i personally do not care if there is a gay couple. i just dont like if they do something in front me. i feel as if that is impolite. but other than that it is fine . as for marriage, where is our freedom? they should be able to be married too.

hi Nmedanich, I'm just curious. Does it bother you if they are openly gay? For example, I mean like if they hold hands or hug like other couples do?

That's one of the sad reality that we have to face today. However, there are still some who are ethically upright.

i think people should be allowed to love and marry and live with who ever they want to. I think that only God can judge who is right and who is wrong. I have some of the most amazing friends who are gay. I want them to have the kind of happy life that I have.

Hi ronaldallan1916, Well, I have no problems with it. My ex husband is today living with a man, as he got out from the closet as to speak. He was in real bad shape about the time so I am happy for him that he finally accepted who he was. I am totaly okey with it and I have a great life to, no hurting or anger towards him. You are who you are no matter so just accept we can not change it.

No one likes homosexuals... Here in Hungary they are at the same level like gypsies... BUT! I have a friend who is gay, and he has a boyfriend and they both living their normal lifes... They don't go to gay-parties, they don't kiss on the street.. they have a real relationship, with all of it's feelings and stuff.. So the most gays want to kick up the dust and provoke people, like they do on these gay-parades! And that's why heterosexual people hate'em all over the world! Sorry I really don't want to hurt anybodys feelings, but that's my opinion and what I'm saying is fact!!! Have a nice day!

I was telling this, because this is the situation in my country... no one likes gays, gypsies, and I could go on.. it's because of the mentality, you know.. and I bet, only a homosexual likes an other homosexual... have a nice day! :)

No, I believe that is false. It is NOT true that only a homosexual likes a homosexual. Sounds to me like you are very close minded. Have a great day! ;-)

And how do you know that NO ONE likes homosexuals? Speak for yourself when you say this. Don't speak for others. :-)

Acts against G-d do deserve discrimination, and as a Christian I must stand for what G-d says. No, I don't hate the Homosexual, I hate what they are doing. There is a difference.

Sure he does. G-d says repeatedly to hate sin. Psalm 97:10 Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Homosexuality is evil. Therefore I hate it. Hate is such a strong word, and is rightfully used for things that are against G-d. Further G-d says specifically that I should be zealous for G-d's law, and to stand for him. Revelation 3:16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. It would be better for me to be cold and against G-d, than be lukewarm. In other words, if I believe what G-d says, then I should support it. And therefore I will. It's not personal, it's faith and trust in the only true G-d. So, no I will not turn away. I will continue to push for Marriage being what God ordained it to be. I will push for that, before homosexual marriage is legalized, and after. I will talk against it, until the end of my life, and I will not stop, nor will you or any other prevent me from doing so. Why? Because the Bible is very clear what happens to those who refuse to repent of evil... and I wish that on no one.

I understand you have your opinions, that is what makes us human. I also know God loves me and will always love me because He created me. No matter what the Bible says, He would never turn away from His children. I don't judge and would never judge, nor would God. Have a great day! ;-)

God creates everyone. He doesn't leave anyone out. If you don't like what us homosexuals are doing, then turn your head. In other words, don't worry about what we are doing. Worry about what YOU are doing. Have a great day! BTW, God never wanted you "hate" anything. Hate is such a strong word.

I have read all comments on this discussion and I respect each persons point of view. I, being a lesbian who is in a relationship with another woman, respects all opinions. What I don't understand is when someone says they don't LIKE gay people. What is your reasoning behind this? Why is it that you dislike gay people? The ones that don't like gay people, you are only judging. And judging goes to hatred. I guess you will never get rid of the hatred in the world. This is my opinion. Gays, Lesbians, Transgender, and Straights should ALL be treated equally. I am not one to show affection in public because I have respect for others around. It should be the same way for straight people. A kiss, a hug, or whatever is not that big of a deal though. Each one of us has "rights". We should all have the right to do anything we want to do. All marriages, whether it be between a man and a woman, a man and a man, a woman and a woman, or even a dog and a dog, should be allowed! lol Ok, not the dog and a dog, but whatever. You get my point. Don't hate people for who they love! We have enough hatred in this world already!

Hi Ronaldallan, I agree with you 100%. The discrimination against them has hurt not only them but other people as well far more than it ever should have. Society has come quite a long way in being more respectful and fair toward them but there is still way too much discrimination. Hopefully, the day will come soon when they are treated fairly and with the respect that as human beings they have always deserved.

We can only hope, heh? I have some very close friends that are gay and just listening to some of their tales just makes my blood boil. Those that don't agree at least need to learn some kindness and respect. The sad thing is that too many of them even if they are respectful in public, voice their negative feelings to their children who may well be gay and that either causes suppressed feelings etc or aids in continuing the cycle of discrimination. We all are obligated to teach our kids to respect each others differences.

I have no problem with gay people, most of the time they have the problem. They seem to think that everyone is against them, a lot of the time. I know this from experience. I have a step daughter that is gay and she makes sure everyone knows it. She is always looking for the pitty party, looking for sympathy from others that she gets treated badly. Even when she isn't being treated any different than others. She thinks she should get special treatment or something. I also have a female friend that is gay but she doesn't bother me none. She knows I'm not gay and that's okay with her. We can still be good friends, no different than me being heterosexual and having male friends. I also have a male friend that is gay and I worked with him for 17 years and he never showed it off or looked for any sympathy the way my step daughter always does.

I agree with you that even homosexuals have the right to be happy, to be in a relationship with someone they love but since I was brought up in a society with high moral standards, I can't help but feel ashamed whenever I see two men or girls kissing each other in public. Things like that must be done in their private space and I do hope they respect other people that's around them.

Either homosexuals or heterosexuals relationship I don't mind. I understand that they're both human beings too. We can't blame them for being so and wanting that kind of relationships. Everyone wants to be happy and feel loved. If that's where they are happy who we are to judge or discriminate them. There are also forbidden normal relationship (man and woman partnership), so what's the difference..gender? LoL

Hi ronaldallan! Do we have any right to judge others? We certainly do not want to be judged by others either. They just have as much right as everyone else. And they have as much right to live their lives as others.

We definitely have no right to do so, tomitomi.

People are still people, regardless of their gender, gender-preference, as is race, color, heritage. WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS. Like every individual, different traits but the same species. Like in the colors of a rainbow. And we should give due respect to everyone because we are ALL brothers and sisters of the same.

Im perfectly fine with it, who am i to deny someone else the person they love just because of their gender? Im not. if that person is the one for them then they should go for it.

That is true. It is really a matter of choice. if one chooses to love the same gender, then its fine. No one in this world has the right the oppress you with your happiness.

People are always free to chose what to do with their own lives. As long as they don't cause harm to other people, im fine with it! what gender you choose does not define who we are or make us less of a person! This is a shout out to two of my friends here on mylot! (You know who you are) lol

Hi ronaldallan~ I have no problem with anyone's sexuallity. It is everyone's own personal right and choice and shouldn't be anyone else's business or issue. I agree with your statements. I try very hard not to discriminate against anyone! We all have the right to choose!

You hit the nail on the head! So many homosexuals have all the rights to love and have children like heterosexuals! I know alot of people who think if you are gay you choosing that life style! Not! You are born that way! I know one person who thinks they change a gay person to be straight! Bull! Then there is another person who believes gay people should not be allowed in the clergy, adopt or have children! That is discrimination! I hope I can be around when all states in the US let gays get married and be able to get on their spouses health insurance like heterseuals! I am getting so sick of this and so are my gay friends!

I think it is immoral but it's none of my business. The government should be neutral about it. No one has the right not to be discriminated against by other individuals.

I completely agree with you. I have no problem with gay people and think gay relationships are just the same as straight ones. I think it is awful when people are homophobic and especially if they are violent or abusive to people because of their sexuality. I was very pleased when it became legal to have a civil partnership (gay marriage) here in the UK.

i am not a judgmental person and i don't gossip about people... i listen but i don't respond if someone tries to gossip with me... i do see a lot of homosexuals out here nowadays.. but i don't look at them as abnormal people.. they have feelings and emotions too...it doesn't make them less the person they are because they are homosexuals..let's give them a little respect..=)
