Nowadays we do so much of work through internet, that is almost impossible to imagine life without internet. We do banking or shopping through internet. Any information that we require will be found through internet. Many of us make a living out of internet. Contacting people and maintaining networks has become easy. What would happen if the internet was no longer in our life?

Start backing up the Internet on CDs and DVDs, that way, if the switch if flipped and the Internet is turned off, you can enjoy your backups.

Off course I can't earn money online . The life will be change. Our life has been easier since we know internet. Everything done easily with internet. However, internet is the way to make life better. It's not the absolute way. If internet won't be available anymore, I think the life will still go on. I think we will be back to conventional way.

Hi tovk! It would take time to adjust to the new condition as there has already been a dependence on the internet. People would start communicating, calling and chatting over the phone more as they can't use the email.

It'll be hard at first as much of what we do today is dependent on internet/web. But humans are adaptable creatures. So I think we will be able to survive without it.

I have to say that in the past year with the economy causing people to lose there jobs, most of us as myself, have turned to the internet looking for that Home Based Business so as not to have to fight putting in applications after applications, as myself, to only be turned down week after week. If it came to a day where internet was to no longer be, those of us, as I mentioned who have turned to the internet for an At Home business, would be lost just as they were when they lost there job in the office. The internet has turned to be the soul primary bread winner in most homes. This is also a way to communicate with family, friends and a cheaper way to send those fun family photos. Due to my life style, living in Government Subsidized Housing and having a hearing problem, (which I believe is why it is hard for me to get anyone to hire me) my life would be lost. I could not survive. I depend on it souly for my Network Marketing Business. :)

I think this will become a trouble for most of the people who have get used to it because their daily work depend a lot on the internet. If the internet disappears, they just cannot carry on with their work that day. However, I think their life will return back to the normal after a period of time because there was not any internet in the World in the past and people could also deal with their work, though the efficiency would be much less, they could still manage it. Therefore, I think that there would be big problem to people but they can just manage to solve it.

I would return to life before the Internet. Shop in stores or buy through catalogs, bank at banks either in person or by mail, write long letters to those I wanted to stay in contact with, have less chance of having my pesonal information stolen, play games with real people at my house instead of strangers I never see online. In other words, I'd still have a very good, active life.

If there's no more internet, I'd lose my job. And I wouldn't be able to find my long-lost friends that easily. And I won't be able to read my favorite manga online (and it's hard to find a hard copy here!). :(

I went withoput the internet for almost 3 months. I only got to the library 3 times and not for very long. I missed my friends alot. I missed my games and green spot where I make gardens and save rainforest. I would miss instantly finding ot the answers to spelling or what something is or what's it used for. I would go crazy for sure. I would in time find other things to do but friends around the world-----how often does that happen without the internet? Never or at least not very often. It would be a sad day for alot of people.

Life without the internet would be a huge adjustment to our lives. Just think how much slower information would be processed. With so much advanced technology, it would be difficult for many to cope without the internet. It would certainly be a time of change. We take so much for granted, including our computers.

The world would lost it's time without the internet. Communication are poor people end up sending mails with smiley in their letter. Large numbers of mailman would be in-demand. People scattered everywhere, because they would look for something that would make them feel busy or entertained. As for me, I'd be more focus on my job. Working on my own business to earning more money (hope so). ;0

we will go back in doing 'manual' to anything and everything in this world.. for research, library and more reading. for banking and other finance stuff, counting and calculating. to databases and other records, logbook style.. good luck to all of us..
