no I transfer all the money out of my account to my bank every month. You arent required to have anything in your account unless you participate in the money market fund.I am not apart of it but trying to figure it out.

I mean that when you are going to link your Paypal account to your bank account... do you need to have some balance on you bank account to be verified by the Paypal?

I think yes, because they'll going to use a small amount on your account and return it after you successfully verified it(they'll return it in your PayPal account). This is what i remember when i tried to link my account without any funds on it. I deposited a small amount and after a day they sent me a email notification to confirm the 2 small amounts they deposited in my account, i received none(the bank account i used is not affiliated with PayPal). Anyway, where you from? Use EON UNION BANK if your from Philippines.

That does sound weird, is your account for your country or when you signed up did you by mistake pick the wrong one? You are not required to have a balance but you might have to still verify the bank account, when you link the account to PayPal, PayPal will deposit 2 small sums in your bank account and you are required to then log into PayPal and write what those 2 amounts were to prove it is your account. If you still have problems I would suggest calling them and finding out what can be done. Good luck

This Thing happened to me. PayPal sent me a e-mail confirming the two digits they deposited in my account so what i did was to check on my balance and there's nothing new. I waited for a week but i haven't receive any amount. I guess it depends on the Bank affiliation. I inquire someone who's working at the bank where i opened my account and they said that they are not affiliated with PayPal so maybe that's the reason why i haven't received any confirmation. I was so disappointed on what happened because i already opened an account, submitted several documents but my account still frozen so i asked mylot users about linking the bank account and they are using the same bank (EON card, Union Bank).

As far as I am aware no bank is linked to PayPal, they just happen to make a payment into your account but maybe it only works in certain countries and others have to verify it in other ways. I am American so guess I got it easier. I hope you can sort out your account soon. Worst case after 6 months all limited accounts are able to have the balance withdrawn into a bank account.

I had the same problem you need to go to the resolution centre in your paypal account. There you may have to send a copy of a utility bill or electricity bill update your bank account where paypal will send you two small deposits then you need to tell paypal how much was each of the payments and update your password. Once you've done that your paypal account will be up again. You can even ring paypal up once you've done that so they can life your restrictions straight away. Hope this helps you with your question best of luck.

Hello there. My account was also set to limited access since last year and im still have funds on that account. Now im using my friend's account because until now i haven't solve the problem. I also tried linking my bank account but it was denied for the reason that PayPal and the bank i linked is not affiliated(other documents are also invalid). I think it depends on the area where you at. Here in my country almost all users of PayPal they linked their account via EON card.
