Do you like to watch people...

When I go places I find myself sometimes observing people to see how they act whether it's in a market, social gathering, or church. I like to observe if they make eye contact, their body language, etc. Sometimes I get upset at myself for doing this and not just enjoying my environment. People are so funny. I am sure alot of people observe me as well since most of the time I go places with all my kids. I get the stares while trying to deal with my own five kids. Anyhow do you find yourself looking at people? I went one time with my husband to a nightclub and found myself talking to my husband about why people do the most silliest things when trying to pick up someone or impress someone.

Hi! I surely observe people, when I see them at public places, specially when I have nothing special to do. Their activities are fun to watch. Children, particularly behave in a very jovial and funny manners, when they are at public places and they are least bothered, who is observing them. Like-wise, some of the fellows talk so loudly on the cell phones that they forget that it is public place. Some of the couples start showing public display of affection at public places. It is all fun and humor and one get to learn a lot from them.

Children are funny. My husband likes to make little faces at kids while we are in line to buy something. We were looking at houses this week and my son told the real estate man "We didn't have the money for that kind of home..." I was so embarassed that I told him to get in the car. Couples are funny, sometimes you see one person being more affectionate than the other. I sit at the back of our church and watch the couples there: one couple is distant, another the man is hugging his wife, the other a woman is leaning into her husband, so many different couples. I wonder at times if they love each other as when they met...

I agree with you that children are funny and making them funny faces creates a humorous and wonderful atmosphere. Couples sometimes behave in an odd fashion, forgetting in the process that they are at a public place and they need to restrict some of their activities.

Actually, i enjoy just sitting around in the cafe, or in a place where people would be walking by, pass by, or will just stay sitted and chatting with friends is enjoyable to me, i kind of forget how much time i am already waiting... and yes i do enjoy seeing them and watching them go around, walk.. and see their different behaviors as well...

Cafe's are kind of nice since it's just usually a couple or a few close friends. I haven't been to one before but as I visit my parents they have little cafe's in this one city along a busy street. Just looking at their faces sometimes gives you insight.

I usually look away but hear very good. Elephant ears. I have a son who actually is obvious at looking at people that it's embarassing. I have to tell him to close his mouth.

hello pdbme2, Yes, I observe people too. At the mall when I sit on the bench and my daughter is shopping in the stores close by. People look at really quick and turn the other way and others stare at right back and I often wonder what are they thinking in there head right now... do I really want to know it? (LOL) sometimes I watch parents and how they deal with there younger children especially if one is crying or whiney and they let go on... or child is calling the parent and parent ignores them until child scream mother I am talking to you or want this item whatever it is. Sometimes walking my dog I look at other dog walkers and see how good or bad there dog is etc... or will try to jump my dog. My dog medium size does not do well with other dogs she hide behind me like a kid but she will growl or jump the other dog usually she shivery because she is scared of the other animal. Thanks and have a great day! Sincerley Unique16

Hi One of my hobbies is people watching and I have been known to spend up to an hour doing just that. It is really fun trying to guess what they are thinking (or worrying) about. Saying that the best time to people watch is whilst enjoying a cappuccino in a coffee house.

Oh yeah really huh! They are relaxed talking to friends or family about things. I forgot that one, today I was at the store and some young girl told her mom that she was going to get kicked out of Wal-Mart. I had to turn around to see why. She said she told some lady off so the lady was going to tell management. The young girl was very rude or arrogant. I wonder what her mom thought but her mom wasn't any better. She had such pretty girls yet their attitudes were ugly.
