Have you ever hit the pot of gold?

They say that when we follow the path to the end of the rainbow, we would find our pot of gold. I had been chasing rainbows all my life, and had seen these colorful arcs in double spectacles, but my leprechaun seem to have hidden my pot. Or had I gotten it without knowing? Had you hit yours?

Now you are entitled to make three wishes. Close your eyes and clasp your hands. Utter you wishes softly and gently. Believe that they will come true.

hi eileenleyva oh yes I got there but the darned leprechaun seemed to always get there first. ornery littler critter lol. And I faithfully play the Publishers Clearing house sweepstakes each day, so wheres all that lovely money promised to me. maybe the leprechauns took that too. reminds me of the cartoon I saw a while back on the net. A skeleton is sitting with cobwebs all over him waiting for his Publishers House Sweepstakes winning caption read over his head, hes waiting for his Publishers ClearingHOUse winnings.

I ponder upon such thoughts time and again. Where are all the wealth I had dreamed about as a child. Yet when I hear the teasing and the laughter of the little children I play with, I know my gold had been those tiny moments of happiness. No money nor car nor estate could replace the joy I have with the people around me. Heard about the story of the 40 wealthiest men giving half of their wealth to the deprived? Money can't buy happiness. Money can't be taken to the grave, too. Bill Gates, et al, are trying desperately to give their money to those who need it.
