For the most part, I love shopping online. So far, I've gotten exactly what I ordered. I research my products for the most part, though, first, OR I already have familiarity with a product and am just reordering it for price's sake online as almost always I've been able to get at LEAST 20% off my purchase compared to an actual store visit. It saves time, gas and therefore, money, for me.

That's true, I'm considering ordering more things online just for the same reason... I really hate store markups and what not... Plus the summer here is scorching right now and there is no A/C in my car talk about a deep fried road trip thanks for posting!

Yes. Tell me about the heat! UGH. We seem to finally be getting SOME relief, but tomorrow it will be back up to 99. Can't wait for the next storm front to move in... Gas is SO expensive here running from 2.69 to 2.89 for the cheap stuff. The heat just puts the cherry on top with everyone being cranky at the stores.

In offline shopping we purchase something and receive the good immediately after we pay. We know exactly the goods that we buy, choose which one we want. We can bring the goods by our self to our home or use their service to bring the goods to our home. We can complain if the service is not good and meet face by face with the servant or the boss. However, there are many fraud too. Online shopping is more complicated. We have to be careful when buy anything online. There are many fraud shop in internet. Even if we know the legit one, the good we order may come late to our residence since online earning involved third party, that is service delivery. So, we have to be more patient waiting our stuff.

There's also the whole 'no tax thing' which as obviously affected the economy, at least in America. I ain't complaining though i mean its cheaper products, so I'm down for that. Anyways thanks for posting, your points are well put.

Don't worry, you will still be alive come monday! Main reason I don't shop on line is I have to see what I am getting. I never buy clothes on line as you never knw if they will fit. Just cause you wear a size 10, doesn't mean that size 10 will fit. I have even gone to a store, tried on jeans until I found the right size, went back to the rack and took 3 more pair of the same size, same tags everything, get home, and the one I tried on fit, but almost always, 2-3 of the others I didn't try on, don't fit! Can't figure that one out. I even check the code numbers on the inside of the tags and matcht that up, but they still are way off from fitting. I buy DVD and such from Amazon.com...spend $25 and get free shipping and it is always here in 2-3 days as they say ...or is it 3-5 for regular standard shipping. Whatever comes with the free shipping is what I choose. I am looking now into buying a hot air brush and a persnoal mixer from Target to get points through my point earnings for GC's site, but with the shipping there compared to the points I'd get, there is no difference so I might as well just go get them at the store and have them and not wait. So I think it just depends on what you want as to whether to buy online or not. I did recently buy a DVD disk player for my PC and a external hard drive online via Best Buy. Those don't matter what they look like to me. I just researched what was out there, and what I needed and chose the price etc,and ordered it through my points program, was notified the next day they were ready to be picked up at the store about 1/2 mile down the street and was installing the same day.

I love online shopping, I like trying to find good deals, but I have to get money first, and I'm kind of lacking that right now. I've pre-ordered a bunch of stuff because I know I'll have money to it it by the time it comes out.

Shopping online is a great invention. It's easier than real shopping because you don't have to go drive to all the different shops you like. They are all in one place. Also things tend to be cheaper online, I'm going to start shopping online soon. I've never made an online purchase yet.. Wish me luck.
