In our country the Philippines are a agricultural land. We should give importance of agriculture in order to make our country move forward. If see our neighbor country here in Asia they begin in agriculture before they become industrialized country. A developed country should sustain its food in domestic production. The near future the world will be in food crisis oil is not be the biggest problem of the world will shift to food. So now our country should focus to agriculture.

If I remember it right it is us who taught our neighboring countries the right way of planting rice but then look us now. We are currently importing rice to feed ourselves. Whoa what happened there? Probably one of the government's mislead program. When are we gonna learn...

We certainly can't eat oil. Your country can help feed other countries that don't have the resources that you have.

I think it is very necessary but there are much more important to fix first before that. It is the corruption in the Philippines. I know no one can eliminate corruption totally but at least minimize it. Corruption is the major hindrance to our progress. Only those selfish politicians are progressing.

I agree with you. We should put more effort in agricultural projects because it will help us become more self-sustaining. Of course, agriculture should not be the only thing we should develop. All I'm saying is that we should not neglect the importance of agriculture since that is what our country is gifted with. Our government should put more resources in research and development of our natural resources so we can maximize their potential and benefits.

agriculture is our priority right now but funding isnt reaching those who need it the most.it stops at the director or under secretary.poor farmers, they bleed and sweat for nothing.
