Have you ever Adopted an Animal Shelter Pet?

Yes our youngest dog Jd is adopted from a shelter here in Pennsylvania. Our other dog kodi is a pure breed Lab and we got him from a breeder.

Ironically, I only have 1 pet out of all my rescued pets that is a permanent pet and came from a shelter. And that's one of my male zebra finches! My 10 year old rabbit was rescued from someone who was moving away to college. My newest rabbit was running around free outside after the "owners" moved. My other 4 zebra finches came from an office where they were too messy and had to go. The 3 guinea pigs are foster pets... one came from an animal control seizure, and the other two were both babies born to pregnant females rescued from shelters (separate moms, separate shelters). I've had several foster pets that I rescued from shelters. Lately I've mostly been fostering pets. When I move, I don't want to be taking along a whole zoo (just half of one!).
