Hi thepankajnegi, No, I personally don't believe that someone can predict the future events. I am a pessimistic person when it come to that sort of thing. Nostradamus, was suppose to have been a great predictor of coming world events. I am not sure how many people actually believes in his predictions. How many of his predictions came true? I have not idea. That would be would be a good future project. The only experience that I have had with something close to predicting events would be dreams. I have had dreams about certain occurences that had not happened, and later, somewhere in the future, the event happened just as it was in my dream. However, I would not call myself a predictor of the future.

hi no I sure do not think so as if that were the case we could go to these predictors and say tell me if we will soon get new jobs and the recession will be over, and they will tell us so we can avoid p roblems. no only God knows for sure what our futures will be. Most of these people are fakers who are just after one's money. I could lie like that too and make alls sorts of money from gullible people but I would never do that.

All one can do about future is just speculate but you cannot predict a thing about future. Future is always uncertain and it has to depend on many things. There are so many factors once cannot even imagine.

Hi dear, From my findings, I believe that this concept is not so true. There are so many ways adopted for predictions. In various countries there a group of people adopted as a profession as prediction tellers. They adopt different means to this. They will consider the date of birth, time, place etc. as their input. Some are expert to tell looking on the face, and hands (palm) etc. Some are using parrots and other means (you may be aware of the predictions of Paul for the football winner case also). All these are some kind of calculations only. Some may similarly happens and which lead people to believe. A similar case is happens in my case also. When I was in the college, at evening time we (a group of friends) used to stay back around 1/2 hrs. near a shop before going home. One evening around 5:50 evening, one old man approached and he offered to say about the future. One of my friend said ok, asked the old man to look at his hand and predict about his future. The old man said few things and he approached me also. In this case, we are supposed to pay a few little coins to him. However, I was not interest and I had no faith in this, I hesitate to speak with him. This was my intention and kept quite. Suddenly, he said to me that this guy is not believing in this. However, I will tell you few things without looking your hand. He predicted 5 things. I still remember. He said, there are few major things are going to happen in 4-6 months time in your home. All will be major things and will be a turning point in your life. He said that within 6 moths time I will go away from my native village and I will get a Government job also. When I heard, these things I asked him to stop all these non-sense. Because, I was 100% sure that I have not written any exams for job, and just completed my graduation. And there was no chance for me to leave my place within 2-3 years. I just ignored but had some doubts in my mind. I though, may be my sisters marriage and what else? But all are happens within 2-3 months time. My father expired on heart attack. Our residential place got shifted to a different place. One of my close friend called me to the city and offered me a job. It was for a month time and afterwards I got a job in a women’s university (a government job). Like that a few important and decisive happenings occurred in the short span of 6 month time. Why I said all is, if we link the things like to the prediction, it is come true. It may mere coincidence. But it all are true. But, still I am not believing this predictions. It just happens. It is people who decide whether to believe or not. People believe in God. Why? Regards, Thank-s

I know someone who can tell me on the surface what is coming for me, but do I believe she can predict the future no. I believe there are many like my friend who had a gift for reading upcoming events. This friend of mine is great at telling me things that do come true but again I do not believe she is 100% accurate. Then there are those that have a little knowledge and take advantage of those needing to know what is going to happen. The only person that can predict the future is God as when we are born our future is already written.

They can try, but nothing is ever really set in stone. People can predict someone's future, but then something changes.

well i think some people can predict suspected events. like market analyst predicting the future markets and such. But for predicting what will happen tommorrow as an example then i dont think so.

What you are saying is absolutely true no one can predict the future. There are astrologers and soothsayers but are they effective? That is debatable.I certainly do not believe in their predictions. They thrive by playing on the minds of the gullible.

Hiya thepanka, Maybe because the fraudsters give the genuine People who do predict things a bad name. Those kind of People the ones who do know about the future you can count them on your Fingers there are so few genuine ones around. As for the others I can tell them a mile off they are just making it all up practically all of them are telling lies for a lot of money. The genuine ones do not have very much money either but they are very gifted so they are so rare like rare gems. I don´t disbelieve the genuine ones but I don´t take them for granted either we all have free will and a choice anyway.

I don't believe such because if there is someone who could predict the future then we can prepare for tragedies that will happen. So far no one ever predicted about some tragedies that have occurred. In my opinion no one could predict what will in store for us in the future, only GOD knows.

Future is something that is determined by several things - If it is near future, you have actions done in the past and this can be predicted. But if it is something in the distant future, there are many things that can be changed in the between future and present. Hence it cannot be predicted. As an example - Suppose you have just completed your Semester exams and you didnt study at all - Future can be predicted - You will fail. But you have just entered the semester and exams are distant. Now your future prediction about results - This depends on how you study between the present and the distant future(here your exams). All this said, I believe that Future cannot be predicted on a 100% guaranteed basis. You can throw stones into this area but the results are uncertain

I think you are right to think that predicting the future is not possible. But if it was possible, it would seem to the opposite of a self-fulfilling prophesy, because if someone knew their future then that someone could change that future by taking steps to avoid it. So it's a logically conflicting idea to think that the future is predictable. And, if the future was predictable, then that implies that the future is already fixed, or written in stone, so to speak. And that would mean that you couldn't change the future no matter how hard you tried. But that doesn't make sense to me, so again, it's a logical contradiction.

I don't believe it either. I have read a long ago that predicting future does something with basing on the past and present. Here in the Philippines, we got lots of future predicter. They are called "manghuhula" in English, predicter. They foretell depending on what area would you want them to see coming. Whether your love life, career, and even lost things you want to find. Even if I learn from some that the predictions are true, I haven't gotten to the point of believing. Who would know about our future? Most predictions are very subjective. They can say that this year is our lucky year, they can say it's not. I think you have been familiar with Niostradamus predictions, and I think his predictions are scary. You can check out his future predictions, and even his 'fulfilled' (as they declare it) predictions at this site: http://didyouknow.org/nostradamus/

No I don't think anyone can predict your future. I think if they even tried to tell me I'd tell them to keep it to themselves. I don't care to know the good or bad that might happen. I'm sure it will all be based on assumption of how I am already living my life.
