Kerry Schwartz of VH1's "Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair" had a lump on her leg that she thought was a bug bite till it grew to the size of a ball and went to the hospital and it was some kind of bug egg sack in her leg! http://www.tmz.com/2010/08/09/kerry-schwartz-frank-the-entertainer-in-a-basement-affair-vh1-insect-infestation-laid-eggs-leg-surgery/ *passing around barf bags* i always thought this was an urban legend or like some weird thing that happened in 3rd world poverty stricken countries or something.. im going to be paranoid every time im bit from now on! have anything to top that in grossness? have you known some one that had this happen??

Last Saturday (6 days ago) I fell down in a paddock of burrs and prickles. I'm unable to use my knees and so had to crawl/drag myself to where a tractor was parked so I could pull myself up. It took me about 15 minutes. My hands were bruised and sore and bloody and I had to keep stopping to pick the prickles out of my knees. Two days ago, I was rubbing some soothing cream into my still red & blotchy sore knees when I noticed a lump on the back of my right knee. I asked my friend to have a look and he used my tweezers to remove a little bush tick. It was getting quite fat on my blood. The lump is still there and it's still tender so I'm wondering if his sucker is still inside.

That was gross! So the bug didn't just bite her. It laid eggs under her skin, too! I wouldn't have thought of any bug that does that. Maybe there's something in her skin that the bug liked so much. LOL! I guess these days we can't be too careful about being around bugs. You won't just get sick now, you get to become human incubators. Waaaaaah! Don't forget your Off lotion now kids!

I wasn't grossed out about this at all. What does that say about me? Maybe it's because I've been grossed out so much in my past that not much affects me anymore. It could be because of something my son did when he was a baby. Once you're thrown up on, especially in your hair and down your neck, pretty much nothing will gross you out ever again. It is a creepy thought, though. I know of certain bugs that are bad for crops but shouldn't be killed because some other kind of bug, I think it's some kind of wasp or something, lays it's eggs in this bad bug, where they hatch and eat their host from the inside out. The wasps are good for something or other, I can't remember what now. Pollination maybe? I had two sons. They've spent half their lives trying to gross me out. Maybe that's why I'm pretty much immune to most grossness. Also, I rarely get bitten by bugs these days. I've heard that eating a pickle a day will keep bugs off (because of the vinegar) and I've been doing that so maybe it's working. Also, when I'm outside for any length of time, I always use Deep Woods Off so not many bugs even want to get close to me.

Oh my god! it was creepy!!! I never thought it would happen. I only have seen that in movies which has a theme such as E.T conquering world, star wars or etc... I think we have to be very careful and not to neglect insect bites ....
