What are the best ways to whiten teeth? There are many products, toothpastes available in the market to whiten teeth. Apart from them, are there any other natural ways to whiten teeth?

One of my closest friends has the best teeth you have ever seen. They are just flawless white she uses baking soda and hydrogen peroxide before her toothpaste. She brushes (not swallowing) and then she just uses a regular toothpaste. She does this about every other day.

1) A paste made from baking soda and lemon juice may be used to brush your teeth. 2) A rinse containing half peroxide and half water, swished around like mouthwash. 3) Baking soda and peroxide paste to brush. 4) Eating apples. 5) Cutting back on tea, coffee and soda.

Eating Apples? I've never heard of it. How does it whiten the teeth? And, can we just use mixture peroxide and water without any toothpaste? Or do we need to use a toothpaste after using the above solution?

Teeth cannot whiten by any tooth paste or any other products. Only a dentist can whiten the teeth by his treatment. Technologies have improved very much so u can whiten the teeth within some days of treatment.

I don't trust any product. None of them is best. The teeth always is yellow forever. The dentist can cleans quick the teeth once.

I read somewhere that you can add a little water to baking soda to turn it into paste. Use this when you brush your teeth. You can also dilute it further and use it as a mouthwash. They say it whitens teeth and freshens breath. I haven't tried it though. But considering that it's natural, it should be safe.
