I don't know if that is unusual or not but I don't think I have ever seen one before I saw one outside my window yesterday. I was very black from the head down to where the feet started. All the feathers, etc. were coal black. Is this unusual? Have you ever seen a totally black pigeon.

I've never seen a completely coal black pidgeon. Sounds cute, though :P I have a soft spot for pidgeons and have no idea why.

I don't think I have ever seen a black pigeon. The only color of pigeons I've ever really seen, were predominately gray. Mostly gray, with a little different colors on the feathers of their wings.

There is a pidgeon at a rail stop here in Sacramento that is almost all white which I haven't experienced before. I've seen a number with multiple splotches of blue and green, more so than the other ones.
