What cheap second hand things would sell for a better price?

I am looking to take my ebay business that I had a couple of years ago...I have quite a few lp's, some clothes, some collectable stamps & some vintage accessories plus some items that I have knitted & crocheted...I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of some good second hand items that you can buy dirt cheap & sell for a profit - even if it's only doubling my money...this is to try & help my business get started on another site.

I have no specific suggestions for you, but if you are willing to go around the garage sales on a Saturday morning, you may pick up a few bargains or at least get some ideas. If you are feeling really greedy, you can get free stuff from Freecycle and then sell the stuff on Ebay, but that is not ethically right! I am sure that some people do this though!

second hand clothes sell well (why do you think thrift stores do so well?) also, antiques and collectables do well too.

Vintage clothes always sell well. You just have to know what you're looking for.

This is very true...I guess in my head, I will have to know I will have to know how to market them too instead of just describing them.

I used to sell secondhand clothing on eBay and did fabulously with it. The shipping prices have made that a little bit harder these days, but if you can get clothing inexpensively enough it's probably still a good market. In-style clothing or vintage. I used to get mine at a local Goodwill store that had an outlet center - everything in the outlet center was for sale for either 50 cents or $1, and it wasn't all junk. Shoes, too, if they are in like-new condition and especially in larger sizes, usually do well. Good luck!

This is true...I have tried selling clothes before but I was just basically describing them by what was on the tag, etc...do you have any pointers as to be able to successfully sell them?

Any old coins and stamps collections are always the best bet, then there are these fengshui articles that are always fast selling. Books are also a good choice as people keep looking for good titles in a cheaper price. Knitted and crocheted clothes and purses etc are common but worth a try. Best of Luck!
