Friend some stupid kind of rules should be broken but good rules shouldn't. School uniform is so that there should be a neat a clean and unique dress for all and there should not be no differentiate between the rich and poor people. Every one can have the same status in the school. Child marriage, discrimination by caste such type of rules set by govt shouldn't be broken. But some rules like which follow just like who is prominent but there are only few things are acceptable but not all. Which is made like idiot rules and dominate us then that type of rules should be broken. But unfortunately our ancestors broke those rules. It is too bad. So what you say my dear friend about this discussion.

Yes I have heard that adage - "Rules Are Meant to be Broken". True for those who would go to any extent on breaking the rules. In your discussion you mention - Good Rules and Bad Rules. My Q: Who is to decide which rule is Good and Which one is Bad? Going by the examples you cite, you consider the Child Marriage or the Caste System to be Bad Rules. May I ask if they were bad rules why were they made at the first instance? During the times they were made, they were considered to be of value and it is just that with the passage of time and knowledge and awareness, we say that these are bad now. So you can clearly see that there is nothing called a Good Rule or A Bad Rule as a Good Rule can become Bad and similarly, a Bad Rule can become a Good Rule. So the rule of the thumb is - Rules are meant to be broken and there is nothing like a Good Or Bad Rule. A Rule is a Rule... whether you like it or not is entirely up to you...
