I know I could not make it a day without mine. I have people all over calling me about this or that. My texting is out of this world. I know many people who could go without them. I have church friends who need to get in touch with me all the time. Then there are my boys and my boss. Not to mention of other friends and family.........Have a blessed day!

Hi, I do have a cellphone and sometimes I do forget to bring my cellphone when I go out. I seldom make phone call using my cellphone ,unless, during emergency,or else, my cell phone is mostly for messaging(SMS). Of course, holding cellphone make me easier to keep in touch with my friends and also allowed my friends easier to look for me.

I almost don't use my cell phone. So i think i would lat days and days. I only would miss it in case of emergency, personal or business. I don't understand why people need cellphone this way.

Same here, I mainly need my phone for emergency calls. Though, I can use it to access my e-mails, watch movies, listen to music and browse the net, I still can go on a day without it.

same here, i prefer to go without phone for most of the time unless of emergency calls and when i need to meet someone. otherwise my phone is only a toy to me playing games just to waste my time. usually i get frustrated when my phone ring as it always meant troublesor problem to me!! ^^

It may sound pathetic but I don't think I can last a day without touching or using my mobile phone. :D Truth is I don't remember leaving it behind.:D

I used to think that i really don't need my cellphones because I was never born in this world with a cellphone my mouth. And whatever things that I have not been accustomed to since the very beginning can always be replaced and dismiss. However from the looks of things nowadays it really surprised me is that all i can ever think is who will text me and call me. This is really absurd because it is just a piece of communication equipment but I guess it proves it's point. So I must say I will never surely die with out it but my life will be incomplete with out it.

I hear ya! I didn't have a cell phone until senior yr of high school. Even then I didn't use it that much as it was an analog. Now I have a Droid and don't know how I EVER got through the day without it.

From the way I live my life today, staying for an hour without a cell phone could ruin my life very badly because, the cellphone has became an integral part of my functionality

I use my cell phone every day. I don't have a home phone so we use our cell phones as our primary and only phone. Also, I use the alarm clock on it, the timer, stop watch, calculator, calendar, address book, e-mail function, web browser and texting. Since getting it I have not gone one day without it. It is too convenient and I am lost if I don't carry it with me at all times. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I can go without having my cell phone for at least a week. I may use it once a week, when I go out. It is usually turned off for a very long time. It does not bother me when I don't get to use it. I have my home telephone that I usually will use when I have to call someone. My cell phone is only used for emergency purposes only. And when I have to call someone when I am out and away from my home.

Hi Linda, Cell phone is an inseparable device in the world of technology, information, and communication. When I was still studying at university, it is hard to go anywhere without mine, in case to miss important calls from my lover, perhaps LOL. Then, in these days, my time for staying at home is more than for going out. My cell phone are with me all the time, cause I usually put it upstairs while I do household chores. Sometimes there are some miss calls, then I will call back, which costs me more money ^^

Well there are days I don't even touch my cellphone. For as long as there is a landline by my side I don't really need a cellphone. There was a time that I lost my cellphone and I did not buy a replacement for long. Well I was able to survive those cellphoneless days anyway. Who would not? For many years when cellphone was not yet invented, every one was surviving so why now we can't do without cellphone?

I can't go without my cell phone, as it si the only phone I have and use. I did have a landline at one time, but I canceled it, as I didn't want to pay for both a cell phone and a landline. I use it to communicated with my family and friends, so I take it with me when I am out and about. I would definitely be lost without it, as it has become a way of life and it is like the phone is attached to my hip. I shut it off at night though, as I don't need it then, and I don't want to be disturbed out of my sleep. I don't even take it with me into the bedroom at night, unless I am charging it up then it is easier to disconnect it from the charger when it is is finished. So, nope I can't go without my phone. Take care, and have a very good day.

I consider my cell phone to be a convenience. it is not a necessity to me. If i am without my cell phone, the world will not end. There is a time and place for cell phone use for me. it doesn't have to be my world.

i would probably say,i can live without it when i'm in my house.well, basically,i don't have much time for texting or calling someone.well,in case of emergency or friends calling me,that's the only time i would need my cellphone.but i think i also do make use of it as my source of listening to music.but basically,i don't make much use of it,that's why some of my friends tease me,what's the use of your cellphone when you don't have attention of it.well,i'm used to it.but from time to time,i still do peek at it,if somebody remembered to text or call me.well, most of the time, when i do have load there's time for texting my friends.just to say hi,and how are they.but i can say, that's very seldom to happen.

A 2 or 3 years ago I would tell you I could not go without my cell phone for an hour, let alone for one today, but today I can tell you I could care less if I'd have it or not. The cell phone itself isn't very much important to me, because we have land line phones and technology keeps coming up with new and 'better' and with a bunch of new crap on cell phones. Sometimes I wonder why and I figure it's money. In truth, we don't really need cell phones. It's just that when they came out we became used to them and now we act like they're a part of our lives, but really, tell me, do we need all these things that those new age phones offer us? not really, most of it it's just to brag around to a neighbour or a friend and to show off you have something better which in fact is just a money making machine for the creators of it. So my short answer is I could live without it, but I keep on using it ocassionaly, because our society tell us so.

I would be absolutely fine without my phone haha. I do not have many people that would call anyways which is pretty much fine with me because I am not really a social person and would hate to have people on my back each and every day. Plus, money wise, calling and texting heaps would just cost me heaps of money. Texting is fine though! $-MrDollars-$
