t.v. shows and movies on youtube

Hi all myloters. I was on youtube a few days ago and discovered something I did not know. I fould that youtube is now showing tv shows and movies in their entireity. I was not aware of this untill I looked thur the differnt links. I think I may have heard about this but never realy realized it untill now. I have watched a few episiods for a couple of tv serirs but have yet to watch a movie on youtube.
I have not realy cared to watch tv shows or movies on the internet however I have made an exception becase some of what I have wathced and can watch are rarely shown on tv these days. i much pefer to wacth movies and show on a much bigger screen than the laptop.
How aobut yourself? What do you prefer, tv set or computer? do you think that youtube is now competing with hulu?

I have actually watched some movies and television shows on You Tube.
I saw David Tennant's "Hamlet" on You Tube, and I have seen a lot of animated shows on You Tube.

Oh you should, look up "The Royal Shakespeare Company" and "Hamlet".
Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame is in it as well. Basically, it is every sci-fi fans fantasy to see David Tennant and Patrick Stewart acting together in "Hamlet".

Hi Scififan,
I didn't realize that either. I usually only go on there in search of music or some local event. I don't see myself sitting here and watching an entire movie on the computer but I imagine it would be good if there were a tv program that you really wanted to see but missed. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the info!

Yes, this is the good part about internet and youtube.Whenever I miss my favorite TV serial or show, I would login to internet and watch it on Youtube instead.I also download music videos from Youtube.Bigger TV screen is good but I don't mind watching it on my laptop too.Keep posting!

I watch anime legally on Hulu and I figured out how to block the commercials so I really like it. I just don't like it when it takes forever to buffer.

There are lots of sites that show entire movies and tv shows aside from youtube. Some are legal some are not. Youtube is a respectable source so they are careful not to show anything that's illegal. For me I'd rather watch DVD movies on TV. Sitting on the couch with your family and friends watching TV makes a good break from being on the internet whole day.

Hi and thanks for the response. Yes I couldnt agree more that watching tv shows and movies is better than on computer or internet. I am omly wacthing them here becase of the avaiibillity of some shows. Yes youtube is very respiciable and is careful of what is posted there.

I much prefer to watch the tv shows or movies on the big screen of a television set. But I so like to watch it on the computer too. I think that many different sites like Youtube and Hulu let you watch the stuff on their sites. But there are different areas where it is copyright infringement and then they take it off. The benefit of watching stuff online is there is no commercials to watch.

Just recently, I've also discovered an interesting channel at YouTube with really creative video clips. It's Future Shorts and it makes short videos that are just fun to embed in any blog.

I prefer to watch TVs on the Internet, such as Hulu and YouTube.
Every day, I spend much time on making money online, which can't be finished without the access to the Internet. So, usually I am so busy that I have no time for fun. Sometimes, even if I have some spare time, I tend to watch TVs online because I can't stay away from my computer.
Speaking of YouTube and Hulu, I hold the idea that YouTube is now competing with Hulu. Although YouTube have more visitors everyday, it can't earn more cash than Hulu does, so it really needs some whole new strategies to change the current situation.
