What a "worse" way to TREAT a Prisoner

talked about police brutality... There's no doubt those cops are too bored with their assignments that they decided to do some entertainment, with their prisoners, and being done in secret. I just watch the news, though not surprised, just can't believe it. A person hiding now, entrusted to his friend a video of a "naked" prisoner being tortured.. HOw? the guy is naked, and then there's a rope tied to his D*cK. then, when ever the cop pulls the rope, the prisoner cries in pain, then the cops gets upset and whip the guy. Conditions in the Prison has become worse over the last few days that Cops are beginning to vent off what ever their frustrations to the prisoners...am sure cops involve in this torture will eventually lose their jobs. this is a clear still "human rights violation"

Yep, I've heard the news on the radio just a few hours ago while driving to work. Although I don't have any sympathy to those suspects of muggings and kidnappings, I still am an advocate of human rights. A person is not guilty until proven, that's what I believe in and that's what all cops in our country should adhere to. Good thing the media is always on the lookout for these heinous acts and are always ready to show the people what really is happening.

Hello xtedax, the person that was tortured was jailed for robbery. but even though the person is guilty and sent to jail, they still don't deserve that kind of treatment, this the 21st century and not the medieval times. thank god for phones in cameras, people can see the darkest things with out video or camera.

Prison should be hell not a holding tank. Do you see what I mean? I'm just saying that if you go to prison should you expect a nice place to go to? I think not. The idea of prison is hell to me. Prison is not a rehabilitation center where you change people's habits but a place to punish criminals, don't you agree?

Well, this is a third World country, so we expect this much. unlike in the US where there is a correctional/rehabilitation facility, anything and everything is a lot more different from before.

Too bad other people seems to be sadistic. You are right this cops should be dismissed from their duties. Especially here in our country that there prisoners who are not actually criminals and were just victims. We might not know that prisoner being tortured didn't actually commit any crime at all.

Hello diogzz, I don't think this is the first time that's happened. if that is happening in tondo, what more of those prisons in rural areas, just can't imagine what provincial cops are doing to them. well, some of them are victim of frame ups or unwanted incident. .

definitely this is human right violation........ governments must take serious actions on these incidents... Nowadays this type of treatment with the prisoners are very common in almost all the nations.... government of each country should take some actions to prevent such things....

Hello amrddy, they lost their job. trouble is, this isn't just the only precinct that is responsible for doing tortures. if this is the metro, what more for those who are doing this in the suburbs.

Hi LetranKnight25 I was out of the house the whole day yesterday that is why I wasnt able to see the video. It was only my yaya who told me about it. Yes if ever he was a criminal he was not supposed to be brutally tortuned--he still has his rights. Lets pray that police brutality would stop.

Hello Paula, Nah, i believed cops there are well compensated, compare to my country that cops have very low salary. when a peson is imprisoned, anything can happen, specially if it's in the Philippines. am sure you don't have that kind of incident there.

That is an appalling situation and it goes to prove that these guys are in their jobs because they have a dysfunctional hunger for power. Just because a person is a prisoner in a jail there is no reason why he should be tortured like that. I have not as yet heard of this incident on our Australian news but no doubt we will very soon. The guards involved in this should be reprimanded and hopefully fired.

Prison should be a place for reform. losing your freedom is hard enough but losing onces dignity as a person is even harder. Torture would not help a person to seek reform instead they just turn out more violent due to the trauma. When these guys gain their freedom back, they'll just end up doing up what they've been doing before or even worse.

hi letran thats just outrageous that police can torture a prisone like that and not get caught. They would be given stiff penalties maybe prison time in the US. I dont know what your new Philippine will do but those cops should be sent to prison for long terms. That is indeed a violation of human right.Cruel and inhumane.Police officers involved in cruelties like this should be fired at once.

Hello Hatley, We just had a new President, but i don't think this is the new Philippines. the old system is still there. am sure not all cops are like that seeing this would increase the rate of people not trusting cops because of their violent nature. those who are doing their duty will be affected.

What happens behind closed doors... i guess we'll eventually find out. Man, I already thought solitary confinement has bad enough, but your story makes solitary confined a joke.

Its so sad!!!! some of the cops are heartless and even show all their frustrations over the prisoner. but when looking behind the reason of such an activity by cops is due to the prisoner and his brutal activities. a person is never treated badly(some unfortunate exceptions) until or unless he has not done any fault. but making him naked is violent behaviour and those cops should be treated the same way.

Well if it were something like "the parent of a child murdered by the convict did it" then i wouldnt mind, since they have a personal grudge. But why a policeman? whats the motive? if you ask me the cop who did that is just a criminal dressed in blue.

Hello segerer, it's pure fun and relieves what ever stress they. a far from that as long as there is not surveilance, there's no way any one could ever figured out what happened. this is too much i believed. the crooks got what they deserve, and they shouldn't be treated the way they shouldn't.these cops should be jailed instead.

Oh no this people is sick, just because they are on authority they can do what they want. Prison is like hell, they will do any worse thing to you if you are weak. I hope all bad cops will kick out of their job.

yes, but it's something i believed can be expected. most specially in a country like ours, i hope they do resign or get fired. this is something that should be shown to future criminals if they are caught, it would make them think twice about doing their acts because prison isn't some wonderland.

i just heard the news right now from the news flash for the late night report. i have to see the report later. i thought this happened from other place but learned from eurekafemme and you letran, that they are PNPs. well, i believe by this time, the authorities are looking after them and will soon be kicked out of the PNP.

Hello Neildc, well, in the video i saw one who's wearing a police uniform. then, the person who is doing the torture was actually a chief police. if they are identified, not only they will loose they're job but could suffer consequences, like joining their inmates, and suffer the same fate as the one they try to drag on too.

Hi, Knight. You are fast!:) I also saw the news.... Sad enough... Even if these people have violated the laws, no matter how serious their violations are, they shouldn't be treated like this... As I was watching the news, I couldn't help feeling mad, not to the prisoner but to the police who was torturing him and those who were watching them. As if they were just hitting a doll. The h**l with them!I just hope there would never come a time in their lives that they'd be put in the same position just like the tortured prisoner... The new president must do something about this.

Hello Eureka, PNP can't ignore this, not to mention that the media has closed ties with the President during the Election Campaign, so there's no doubt that they will investigate on this matter. reminds of movies that involves warden killing their prisoners for fun. well, seeing the video was enough than the reporting.

Hi, LetranKinight25. This is very cruel! And painful too! How can a police officer just initially treat this prisoner like this? This is a very indecent act. They should be fired from their jobs. It seems like nowadays cops are beginning to get away with a lot of things. And this is many of of the things that they are walking free from. Something needs to be done about this brutality!
