at wits end

This is the worst transportation we had in Bacolod city. The main transportation medium within the city is by jeepneys. You could take a taxi/cab but it's quite expensive and not advisable if you just earned around P400 a day. You could see the jeepneys lined along the street where they could load/unload their passengers. They will wait until it is full. If you are on a hurry you will be at your wits end. The usual 5 minutes trip to your workplace will take you around 30 to 45 minutes sometimes even worse. When i use to take these routes i would prefer to leave early and just walk. And thats one reason why i transferred near the office. This jeepney drivers didnt know that when they are waiting they lost their prospect passengers. Have you experienced these?

yes. I do. I think most of the things in the Philippines would make you feel that way. I also exactly experienced that one here in Laguna where they will also fill up the seats of the jeepney and the dispatcher will even call out passengers to fill the jeepney eventhough it is obviously filled. they will just say that the jeepney is a 14 seater and its only 13 passengers on the other side. the traffic also makes me sick everyday wherein the first route is just only 5 kilometers but then it will take you 30 minutes to get there in your destination. dusts and smoke will also blown at your face. Only in the Philippines.

the reason why the traffic is worse here because of these jeepneys that lined up along the streets. they are blocking the way and it's notjust traffics that they cause, others a blowing their horns repeatedly. i agree aaron, this is only in the philippines

I don't live in the Philippines anymore and I never experienced that back at our place. I guess you are right about that Jeepney drivers might lose passengers but most passengers are actually willing to wait for that because they don't want to walk. If it is only 5 minutes away then why don't you just walk, besides its exercise too, right?
