Where Is Slim Shady?

All I can see is Eminem and Marshall Mathers on his lately three albums. Relapse, Refill, and Recovery. Although, there are like 2 or 3 songs in Relapse where I can still hear Slim Shady there. But really, where is Slim Shady? Don't get me wrong, we all know Slim Shady, Eminem, and Marshall Mathers are just one person. But we all know those three names have different personalities to represent. It's like: Marshall Mathers = was like the real person, a portrait of a Father, a Family man, talks more about real life, experiences, real pain, and hatred. Eminem = he's like the real deal, he's like the showbiz guy, more sophisticated personality. Slim Shady = is the guy that just don't give a f**k and just talks about anything that surprises us listeners. But in his latest album, I can't see Slim Shady no more. Do you think Eminem has matured enough to get rid of Slim Shady for good? No doubt, his latest albums are still good, but I still miss the old Eminem. I don't know if you guys noticed but even his style on stage has changed. He probably had a really hard time about Proof's disappearance that's why he became like that. I can't blame him. But I'm still hoping he can still make old Eminem back at least in one more album. :) Share me your thoughts guys.

Marshal Matthers has retired his Slim Shady persona for good. It's what he wanted to do.

But why? does he have any personal reasons? Or does he woke up one day, thinking about getting rid of Slim Shady?

Its bout somethin he had in himself and what he thought was creeping in his thoughts and fckn up his mind. He was always tryin to get rid of it and now that he is seriously gettin into the rap business to make sme serious s**t, he has stopped being the old slim shady with silly rap ups.. The raps that tyou se now are matured and hit hard! No more silly raps by em thats for sure.. :) Lik em..

I love the new eminem album, but then again i like all his albums honestly. I love this new one as i havn't played it too much and am enjoying his new sound i do agree that there isn't as much slim shady as he has grown older, but there are songs on the album where you can hear his voice change.

Yeah I agree with you. I knew that the 3 names pertain to Eminem himself but until, I red your post, I realized that he has split personalities. He just go on with the flow of the environment that surrounds him. There's no wrong about that because even though having split personality seems sound so fake, I do believe that Marshall Bruce Mathers III is not that one. Having such kind of personality is the real him.It only proves that he can adapt in whatever situation and may be as time goes by, he becomes matured because of different trials he have in the past. But whatever he is, My support is always goes for him. :)
