I wasn't sure which discussion to put this post under, so, I put it under 'frugal living'. I belong to a little over 30 survey sites and here are some of the products I've gotten free from many of them these past couple of months to try out and give my opinion on: Hand lotion Shampoo (Pantene & Head and Shoulders) Laundry detergent (All) Cleaning Solutions (Two large containers) Energy Bars Not small bottles or packages, but, LARGE bottles and such! Living on a very limited income from Disability makes it hard to stock up on certain things every few months. It's fantastic knowing that I won't have to buy laundry detergent for a long time now. I'm single and live alone and don't have the need to wash clothes that often. To be honest I probably only wash 2 loads a month! LOL! I also belong to many freebie sites. Now, I'm talking COMPLETELY free stuff. Not sites where you have to fill out these small surveys and/or complete certain offers either! From these sites I've also received many free items like: Countless packets of Dove shampoo Tons of bookmarks in English and Spanish Pet Safety Decals Perfumes Toothpaste Floss Earrings I love it and it makes me feel sooooooo savvy and smart! What have you received free in the mail lately? I'd love to hear from you! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

You are sdooo lucky. I belong to many sites about 6 of which are any good. I have signed up to several sites over the years that say they send samples but I've only received one sample and that is a feminine hygiene product and I've sent away for it 3 or 4 times now. Not very exciting eh? I'm waiting for someone to offer me a car to test drive for a month. Wouldn't that be great???

Oh, that would be wonderful! Or, how about a real estate company that's giving away one free (sample) home? LOL! Now, that would be outrageous! Last night I spent an hour at a couple of my free sites sending away for more free things. I know what you mean, though, because there have been a few things that I've sent away for and still have not received. It just takes persistance sometimes. Take care, hon. Heyya Catwoman! You are savy and smart. Sounds like you have found a great way to save some money and still have the things you want and need. I never get any freebies in the mail. I got some shampoo and conditioner in the mail that I was supposed to test and respond about but I was a little nervous about using it..lol...I need to check into to getting some free stuff too...great post!

Kellyjeanne, this is an excellent discussion. We hear people talking all the time about how they cannot afford anything. This is a great way to get items that are necessary. I can be done!

I hope this kind of wakes people up to start taking more advantage of these free sites online. It wasn't until this year that I started taking advantage of these sites myself and I'm really getting some really quality things. Have a great day, hon! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

I love it, too! In the past few months I've gotten a rug shampooer that uses a can of shampoo and squirts it out for the brush, 8 rolls of double-roll TP and some other stuff. I like trying new products but more than than, I like to try them for free--and get paid for it! I don't do so well on the samples sites as you do, I don't often get anything free from them as they are usually all out or I have to fill out a phone number--which nobody gets! I don't wash much, either. I live alone, too, and a box of laundry detergent will last me for months.

Last time I looked the mail was the beginning of the month. And everything I saw was bills, bills and bills. Wait, Hmm... A greeting card from grandpa! How nice! And again bills, bills, bills... (Well there weren't that many bills, but I want to make it more dramatic =P)

LOL! I know exactly how you feel. It can get so tiring to find only bills in the mailbox. Lately, I have learned to take advantage of more and more of these free sites online and it's really starting to pay off. Check into it yourself! Take care, my friend! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija
