How is our mylot account affected if the discussion in which we posted an answer gets deleted ? If I post an answer to a discussion started by someone else, and that discussion is deleted by admin by some reason how is our account get affected. Does our account get marked negative and stand a chance of getting suspended or will it not affect at all? Senior members of mylot please reply... I love mylot and want to be careful so that i can continue to enjoy it.

If you lose a response because a discussion is deleted then, if the earnings had already been added to your account, they will then be deducted. You will also lose a number in your user rating (the number next to yuor username). Your own account is not liable for deletion if you respond on posts which are violations but if you are aware of the Guidelines then you can avoid responding on them (unless they are plagiarised posts which are harder to distinguish).

But the problem is, I don't even know that the post that I commented on was a violation of the rules! 1 day ago, I had 2 of my comments deleted as the post that I commented on violated the rules. I didn't even know why???!!!

If it is a response that you wrote which has been deleted, then it will count as you have never wrote it- means you wasted time for money because you never wrote anything to be paid for. As for if it is a discussion that you wrote, and it got deleted due to some sort of violation, then your rate would decrease by ten( just happened to me I still don't understand what was spam in my discussion but now it is not what we are talking about. You are the topic of this discussion) So be careful when you are responding to discussions and when you write new discussions or you will be severly punished! Happy myloting!

Gaboni, that is very standard in Terms and Conditions. MyLot Admin ALWAYS have a very good reason for deleting anything (and now they will tell us, briefly, what that reason was) but they reserve the right to delete anything at all without having to give a reason. The best way to make sure that your discussions (or those that you respond to) or your responses or comments are not deleted is to read and understand the Guidelines.

Thank you for responding so quickly. One of the discussions I started also got deleted. Never understood why. Since then i am careful while starting the discussions, which is very less anyways.

It is written on the site's policy that the staff don't need any good reason for deleting discussions. I just see that as a bad misfortune and I shall do my best to try and fix it up.

I was wondering this just the other day, I had 2 of the posts I replied to deleted and it just made me sad. :[ I only made 32 cents and it just didn't add up to the normal ammount I made all day. I don't think our accounts get marked down just because of it, all you did was answer a question, you didn't do anything wrong, the poster of the discussion did. :D

I try to post enough so that if a coup discussions get deleted it doesn't affect my earnings too much. I just keep on posting. I'm just happy none of my discussions have ever been deleted by the admins. I try to start topics that aren't up already

Well, that is to prevent spammers and nonsense discussion. But it would help though if those post would be detected before we get to comment on some of them and lose some earnings. =)
