I need help on this unfair charge

Half year ago, I have this consent judgment settlement from both the court and the collection agency who authorized by Discover Card. On previous month, my balance was $4567.36. I made an effort of paying $1,000 on last month, the balance should go down to $3567.36, right, without interest charge. Now, my balance was up at $3867.45. I don't understand. I called the collection agency to ask the operator, she basically not knowing anything. And she just assume that might be the court cost, or the interest rate charged by the Discover Card. I couldn't argue with her anymore, and I just don't know where to find the solution on this. Can anyone guide me solve this error?

Did you get a bill from Discover or can you check your account online? If it is interest it will tell you.

No. I was settled this debt with the court. So the collection agency took over this debt. By under the consent agreement, I simply pay the balance until is full. Now, they charge me extra on this.
