I was always glad to be born in somewhere there is free from major natural disaster. However, since lately, i found that even though there are still not much natural disaster affecting my country but crime rates are increasing day by day. I don't feel safe anymore.... Everyday, we can see loads of murder cases, political corruption cases etc in the newspaper... What is going wrong with this world? When will there be peace

No... Because I want to be in Japan!!! just joking Seriously No, because my country is now suffering from great corruption even though we have a new leaders now, I don't really believe that these new leaders can change my country's status. As a saying said "Greed is Human's nature"

we should be thankful and love the countries where we are now, at least we have a place to live by...its the country that is to be loved not the bad things that the people is causing ...lets look at it like this, if you love your country, then you wont do anything foolish against it, if you don't, well just like somebody else is doing then that's what makes your country unlivable and unlovable .

I love my own, my native land. There is no other place for me to live but my own country. I used to travel to other places but I always end up coming back. Of course there are some negative things about my land but a lot of positive can also be seen. I don't deny that there are crimes, but these are also present anywhere you go.

Hi, friend. Crimes and corruption are common cases happening in every country, however democratic and peaceful it may be. I believe majority of people are patriots, though there are also some exceptions. My country has been threatened by natural disasters frequently in recent years, which results in a lot of damage. But this only makes our people more unified to fight against disasters to protect our country. Our government has been taking effective measures to maintain the safety of the citizens. Facing with dangers, our leaders never hold back or yield, but always stand in the frontline. What more can we expect from them? It's our obligation to love our motherland whole-heartedly.

yes, we should love our motherland because this place where we can live and love. by the way in terms of crimes that happened in every country it's because of the politics on how to manage the country and how to handle the safety of every people. if the politics is not corrupt many people live and free of any crimes.

I feel like I am safe and have a good home where I live, which does happen to be America. Despite the economy hitting us harsher and harsher as each day goes on and Obama not really helping anything, I still think we're far better off than some countries where they can't even voice their opinion without being shot. I think the stereotypes about all American's being ignorant and fat and uncaring towards other people's opinions isn't exactly true, there are quite a few people that are, true, but there are also many people who are not. It's only the people who are that get broadcasted all over the news and to other countries. Haha.

I think that there is no such thing like a perfect country. And don't hope to see peace on the planet. Maybe we could ease the problemsq step by step. But we have to define them very well first.

I believe true happiness and peace can not be found in this world. However, we must go on and do the best we can to control the things we can control. The things we can't control, prepare the best possible and pray really hard. I still love my country.

for me i love my country where i was born because this is my place where i was live and growth. In the case of political corruption some politician do the corruption because they want to be rich in a easy way but does not the right way to be come rich maybe they don't mind what happened to the country after the corruption that they did...so we should choose the politician that can serve to the people and to the country. The crimes that happened to the country is happened only to the person that has a bad character i mean they do some bad things that can destroyed the life of other people.

What is devastating is the fact that those people that were greedy in terms of material will also hurt and kill people. The poor victims might be robbed, raped or even killed in some instance...

Of course, I love my country, I mean who does not. There are some faults and flaws in my country but which country does not have flaws and faults in it. In fact, i am glad that my country has flaws which gives me and the people of my country to improve it. As you said (asxenon) there are crime rates increasing in your country but it is increasing everywhere. There is crime in my country but still I feel that the world's safest place is my country. I am proud to be an Indian.
