If you were to send your children to a children development center or a tuition center, and the fees is like US$50 per month, do you think that it is reasonable price? will you send your child to the center? How much do you spend on your child tuition fees? I mean the fee for 1 child.

I think that amount is a perfectly reasonable price, providing that the school you are sending your child to is significantly better quality than schools which would be free. When I have a child, I would like for them to be in private education, as I feel that so many more doors are open to those who have better quality education. Actually, $50 per month is practically nothing for education. Schools around my area charge $400 per month per child for them to attend their school. You cannot put a price on your child's education, so if you have the money to send them to a better school, without a doubt it should be done.

After receiving feedback from you all, now I know that the tuition fees of $50 is really nothing. Now I know what I should do. I should have enroll my child to the learning center earlier.

It is not very expensive. My son attends to an English class. The class will start in the morning on every Saturday. The fee is about USD100 each month. The piano course will cost at least USD11/hour. And the kindergarten fee is about USD207 each month. Having a child can cost quite a lot. I love China

I never thought of that tuition fees in China will be that expensive, phew! I am lucky that I am not in China (Sorry, this is not an insult but I just feel lucky that I do not need to spend so much money on tuition fees, :)) Kindergarten fee here will be around US$125 so that is still consider very cheap if compare with the fee at your place. To raise a child is not easy and really cost a lot.

hi yspmyl if this is in one of the uNited States I would think it would be really cheap, most cost a lot more, other countries I do not know of course. This is extremely reasonable. I am a senior citizen and my 'only child is now 51. but knowing others here with little ones and the p rices here that would be almost unheard of.

Hi Hatley, This is the tuition fee for one of the kid development center in my area (Malaysia). For us this is consider quite expensive for only one subject and the total time will be 8 hours per month. I never know that at US the tuition fees can be so expensive as $10 per hours. But I think you all live in US with higher and better income and definitely can afford that amount of tuition fees. You are so lucky that you have already gone through the process of bringing up children, and I guess you must have quite a number of cute and small grand son or daughter, don't you? We still have to go through the hardship in taking care our children and worried for them.

US$50 for a month for 1 child is quite cheap where i live. I think it all depends. Here where i live, personal tuition can cost US$20 per 2 hours. Imagine its 1 month.

Wow! US$20 per 2 hours and that is about US$600 a month for 30 days let say. That is really a lot! I don't think I can afford to send my children for that. US$50 is the tuition fee for only one subject. For us here I think it is already quite expensive. How much do I need to earn to send my child for a tuition that cost US$20 per 2 hours?
