pakistan not accepting $ 50 million from india ...for their flood problem......

i dont know what pakistani politicians are thinking and waiting for....indian foreign minister called pakistani foreign minister before 3 days and offered 50 million american dollars as a help because pakistan is been suffering from flood problem from last 3 weeks.......but pakistan haven't accepted it yet....
these politicians are just playing with pakistani people they dont want any progress there...they are just mean.....50 million dolars is a lot.....but they havent accepted or rejected it.....
yesterday american minister told foreign ministe of pakistan to accept that help......
so lets see what happens........but one thing they have accepted is potatoes.....they have accepted 30 trucks of potatoes from india and i am happy with that at least it will destroy hunger of some people......i am just talking all this by the way of humanity.....they are india's enemies but they are humans too .....so they need help please help them

hi abj wow I am the first. what do you know! So you are in Pakistan.
That is really odd that the pakistani politicians will not accept
foreign aid from India. I would think that they would really put
that to good use for your flood problem. maybe the American minister
can persuade them to accept the help. Is there some problems between
India and Pakistan? Well even if they are INdia's enemmies India'is offering to help so how can that be bad? hope your country gets the money it needs. good luck God bless.

I saw on the news today that Pakistan have accepted £5million in aid from India. About time too, let's hope that this leads not only to an effective aid response but to improved relations between the two nations in the future.

I didnt think in terms of improved relations. I hope our government doesnt leverage on this help to extract its end of flesh the bargain. That would be so wrong in terms of human spirit. If it doesnt, it will earn more respect in the eyes of Pakistanis. And chances are we will be family once more.

Dear friend,
I will not finalise that whether it is Pakistan problems or Indian problems. There are many other ways to help each other and also to settle matter. As an Indian and seen many poli tricks and other tricks of Indian government and other agencies I will not blame entirely on Pakistan. If I am able to know the reality between two nations I would like to give a final judgement as a layman.

In this situation the Pakistani needs help and the Indians offered in terms of money but they Pak refused that offer instead accept the potatoes. According to your statement this two countries did good friends but enemies so that is why Pakistani refused their help. At this time the ego of that Pak country touched by the help of Indians and because they are in need so potatoes s just simply a good to accept rather than money. They think that they need foods for hunger so they prefer to accept those potatoes. Yes that is a good actions.

this is really sad if what you found out is true. Somehow the Islamic countries can be totally crazy! It is an oppressive society and i guess I'm not too surprised to find out that they are holding out on help. They probably just want USA to help and are refusing India thinking America will help more. Or they have a secret source that will not help them if they accept it from India.. who knows any more??

Hi abj,
First of all, India is not considering Pakistan as enemy. Of course there must be issues in between both countries and they are trying to resolve it through dialogues. Unfortunately the issues are yet to resolve. I think Pakistan don’t want to hesitate to accept the help from India. They should consider both issues are different. India is offering help to those people who are suffering by natural calamities. Natural calamities are beyond the control of politicians/human beings and it can happen in any place of the world. I think unity should be there among human beings to fight against the natural calamities.

My first thought on this was It is good for India and bad for the people who are suffering...But then again, thinking about those who are effected I felt bad...why do politicians do that.. they definitely are thinking about peace and building good relationship between the two countries.. We can now just Hope for the best to happen..

Politicians are hopeless as always. Life is more important. I wonder when people would come to their senses about that. But we need to face some facts. We did make the mistake of fighting with Pakistan for Bangladesh's independence. It was not our battle. They are smouldering under that defeat and injustice. If we have to repair the harm done, we cant, can we?

Why Pakistan doesn't accept the % 50 million from India? Just because they are two oppositw countries from a politics stanspoint?
These days, this country is still suffering from flood problem ans any help from other countries will make a difference. It is said that Pakistan is experiencing the worst time suring their whole history; If this is a truth, they really should accept the help from India, let alone that 50 million dollars is not a small number.
