What does loner really mean?

A loner for me is someone who wants to be alone most of the time..no friends and a person who can live without no one to be with or talk to. In your case, i would say that you are not a loner, i believe you have friends to talk to or mingle with right? You just want to be alone sometimes that's if you have something to finish and doesn't want to be disturbed, I too am like that sometimes but the cellphone is still there..hehe. I can never say no to my friends that is why my cellphone is always present..

for me.., loner means that a certain individual prefers to be alone and does not want to mingle or socialize in any possible ways.., they only have themselves to deal with and would want to be left out.., does not want to be in the crowd.., and they do their thing on their own too.. it's good to be alone sometimes but too much of solitude is boring.., I believe in the saying that "No man is an Island".., or man cannot live on his own.=)

Hi. Bluerain25. A loner is a person that does not want anyone around them. They don't want to be around others. They want no contact with other people at all. They live their lives like this 24/7. I am only a loner when I am sick or when I don't feel up to talking to others. I don't distance myself from people forever and for a long time. Just because you are busy, does not give others a right to call you a loner. You are not a loner if you just want to be alone because you are trying to finish up somethings that you have to do.

For me, a loner is someone who really doesn't want to talk to anybody. A person who is not going out to socialize. I don't think you are a loner. You just want to be alone to concentrate on whatever you are doing. And that is good. Your attitude is healthy though. Happy mylotting! Cheer up!

A loner for me is someone who want to make friends but couldn't get it. Someone who always like being alone and don't have any friend even when she/he needs one.
