Do you listen to a music or song even though you do not completely understand the lyrics? Like KPop (Korean Pop) or JPop (Japanese Pop). Would you listen to eat over and over again because you like the beat? I listen to such music. But only few of it. I just like the beat. If I really like the song. I look for English translations so I will know what it meant.

No, and this is because I want to know what they are singing about..Some things I don't believe in and I don't want it to influence me..(Ever heard of subliminal messages?) I do have some songs in Hebrew, but either I have the translation or trust the singer.

In my view if we like Music there is no question of Language.Afterall Music is intended to Keep us happy and feel good. But if you can do a little hard work you can work on the meaning of song. i personally listen to all type of songs no matter in what language they are,i just enjoy listening best music.

Hi trishasantos. I also love to listen to songs that I don't completely understand. I just love the melody or the beat or the singer of the song. And of course, if it is popular and I used to hear that song each and everyday, I am already starting to love the song too. I don't think it's weird. It's just a nature of the man.. I guess it is quite similar to "LLS" or "Last Song Syndrome". Have you heard of that? Once you've heard a certain song, it goes to your mind over and over again until you discover yourself singing that song,.

I like to listen songs that i dont completely understand, such as some japanese songs.I'm fond of watching cartoon so that i like to listen cartoon's OPs and EDs,because i think when you listen to it,the songs and the cartoon combine together that make me very excited and the melody is also very good. I also like classic music ,but i also dont completely understand their meaning.i only know when the rhythm is slow and heavy ,it often means sadness and sorrow while when the rhythm is quick and light ,it often means cheer and happiness. So i think we should just listen to a music or song that we like and have no need to care about other things.Just like it is ok.

yes.. actually lot of us do listen to musics though we can't understand them because of the tune or the beat of the said music.. it is not about the understandability of the lyrics but on how you can get off from your set and dance with the beat of the K-pop sensation musics.. K-pop music specifically creates unique beat and combinations of tunes that makes their music so entertaining and can make you dance..

hi no I am not into foreign music much, as I like mostly classical music like Mozart, Beethoven and Bach. I will listen to American popular music and the Beatles and a few modern groups and sometimes I find one favorite that I play over and over also.

Sometimes songs are more interesting when you don't completely understand the lyrics. Songs withobscure lyrics seem to have more depth. Songs that we dompletely understand are the ones we seem to sing along with. When lyrics are a bit strange, we pay more attention and listen as we try to figure out what is really being said.

Yes, there are rock music at English language that I do not understand but I still listen to them because I like the tune. English is not my native language, I am from the Philippines, and although I can understand and speak English, there are American rock songs that are slang and hard to understand. But because I like the tune, the beat, I still listen to them.

To appreciate music one doesn't have to understand the lyrics. To be able to, would be a bonus, nevertheless. I love listening to Japanese songs although the lyrics I don't understand at all. I feel I can still relate to the moods of the songs and I can just be happy or sad as how the singers would have felt.

It happens to me as well but only very seldom. When the tune is melodic or very unique, or when the groove gives me goosebumps, that is the only time i appreciate the song regardless language. But still, lyrics give meaning and soul to the song. It can make any kind of listener go crazy as soon as the words touch the heart, mind and soul...
