windows password

do any one know where does windows save its password ..if yess please tell me i have to demonstrate it

Hi raviudal Windows stores its password in a file called SAM which can be found in the windows system32\config\SAM. Now the problem here is that these passwords are stored as 40 byte encoded strings and there is no known way to decode them (as far as my knowledge goes). thanks for the information. I would make a visit to the website and if possible get that software (but I dont think I need it as I do not have passwords on my PC).

You are correct Windows password on SAM(Security Account Manager) and there lot of tools available to brake windows password like tool available in Hirence CD.You jest visit Hirence websit.

search the folder named pwd

Don't write something that isn't correct or you don't know anything about it. PWD folder does not exist nor it the passwords are contained in it...

yeha i did already
