Manchester City crushed a woeful looking Liverpool 3-0 with goals from Barry and a brace from Tevez. Liverpool looked strangely out of pace and except for a brief period in the second half when they threatened Hart's goal, they could not compete with Man City. Hart put in another great performance to probably signal the end of Given's time at Man City. What are your views on the match? Cheers! Ram

With the signing of james milner manchester city look a really good team. with so many good players in a team it is difficult to gel but mancini is getting these players to play together and they look like contenders for the title this season. But its too early to say if they will challenge chelsea, manchester united and arsenal.

Yes, Milner had an immediate impact with the assist for the first goal. He did look really lively. What I am interested in seeing is how many matches he is going to start for Man City with all their riches. Cheers! Ram

He is in a good form at the moment and i think mancini wil play him as much as possible and also he has played with barry before and he will have a better understanding with barry so good for manchester city. Also milner is such a versatile player as he can play anywhere in the midfield.

As a Man utd fan, it was anyone but not city but last night they convincingly beat liverpool who need to do a lot of sorting out especially at the back and also someone to replace Mascherano, last night he was missed and torres needs to get some game time, can't believe Pachecho looked more of a world beater than him in the 5 or so minutes he appeared, Liverpool has to buy if they have to stay in the premier league or go to europe, man city, spurs and everton are much better than them.

The absence of Mascherano led to a massive hole in the midfield for Liverpool and Man City really exploited it to the hilt. Cheers! Ram

I am never a fan of liverpool, however I hate man city even more now. If they they money can buy success, they have to wait a little long before all the stars starts to complaint. I hopes it happens soon and the city would fall a part. So much for developing new talents.

I was predicting a draw but after watching the first half, I am confident that Man City will win the match and I switched off. Liverpool looked outnumbered upfront. In midfield, Yaya, Milner and Barry had a good game. Upfront, Johnson and Tevez never gave the Liverpool defence any chance to caught their breath. All in all, a deserving result for either of the clubs.

Johnson had a fantastic game and his incisive runs really left the Liverpool defense high and dry. Tevez was his usual workman like full of energy. Similarly in the goal Joe Hart was again impeccable. Two games, two clean sheets... it is going to be difficult for Shay Given to come back. Cheers! Ram
