Sure. But I somehow motivate myself to go every single day. I have never missed a day of work..In about 3 years of working for one company. I've been late, ONCE, and went home ill, ONCE, but never missed a day. Because we can't just go being all lazy just because we aren't motivated. We need to MOTIVATE ourselves! If I had a trust fund, with 10 million dollars in it, then no, I would definitely allow myself to be the laziest I could be. But no, I don't (and I'm sure you don't either)..So keep your head held high! Try to find something or someone at work that you enjoy, and look forward to that every day.

I appreciate that maezee. Thanks Actually, for the most part, it's not the job itself that causes this, its my spirit at times. I must say that I do a lot of laughing at work so that makes the time go by smoothly. God bless!

I feel like this quite a lot. Once I am at work I am fine. The thought of going to work however really makes me feel sick sometimes. I would like to have more vacation time to take off on those not feel like work days. I always wonder why weekends can't be three days, then people would feel more relaxed and more apt to not mind going to work.

Last year aurorastorm, I had 5 vacation days left out of 20 so what I did was scheduled every Monday off and when I say it felt good to be off on Mondays!...... I didn't do it this year because I was hoping that I would be able to go away for a week but my financial situation took a nose dive and so I would take them sparatically. Next year I will do the every Monday thing God willing!

Very true Linda. We must always keep reminding ourselves each day of our baby steps. You know what I don't like about scheduling vacation days though... sometimes today is the real day you want or even need to get off work then Thursday comes and the feeling's not as satisfying anymore. Thus, I prefer.. Sick days. :P

Well I must say that I felt like this yet again this morning. I didn't have a good sleep and so I had no energy but I must keep my son's dentist appt for tomorrow. That is the ONLY reason why I came in today and an hour late just to show how much energy I had.

It happen to me most of time but I will still drag myself to work. How great if I have a job that does not need me to report to office everyday and I can carry on the responsibilities at my own pace and own time.

Hi, Linda4ualways. I have to work everyday as a full time mother. I get no days off, even if I desired and wanted to. When I used to work a salary based job, I wanted days off to rest. I had a job where I had to work eight hours in a day for a whole week. It was very tiring and I wished for a break from this job. I finally got one. I no longer work there anymore!

I feel that way specially on mondays, and when it raining, i don't even want to wake up, sometimes i think to call to the work to say that i don't feel good, and need to go to the doctor.

Oh yes. Sometimes I just Want to take a day off just to be alone sometimes. I mean I suck it up and go in to work anyway because when I get to work I feel fine. It's just the process of getting ready to fo to work and going there. But I have called out sick before just to relax alone at home.
