Will you take a job to write articles for a web site?

Will you take a job to write articles for a website and wait for the site to start earning, so you can take the half of it's earnings. So my question is will you invest time for writing articles and wait 1-2 months for the site to start earning some money. Is it a good investment (time)? You have to see the point - You get 50% from the site's earnings and you don't need to manage anything else for example "Advertising, Design, Hosting... etc." However it takes time and creativity to write unique articles for a concrete subject. Will your rush for that opportunity or you will ignore it cause it is not quite sure how much you will get a month for that site?

I would jump at that opportunity. But you should know the other party as well, so you can trust them with everything else, and if not, pitch in. Because like you said it is worth a lot of time and effort. So you might as well spend it with someone competent. Hope this helps. Happy MyLotting!

That sounds pretty interesting. For me, it could be an excellent place to invest the time. Writing has all along been my favorite hobby since my high school years, and is still is. I am spending a lot of time at online writing sites enjoying my favorite hobby, and and at the same time getting paid for the time and effort I am putting in.

Hi,wazaaa! I think not.Not only because you need to wait 1 or 2 month for payment(for me look a long time to wait),but they promise you 50% from earnings of the site.OK,but how many members are there?Maybe I'll wait 2 month, the site has $1000 or $2000 and there are...let's say 5000-10000 people. So,I'll get after 2 month $500-$1000:5000....lol less than $1.I think isn't so good after 2 month. If I'm a good writer, there are so many ways to make more money with articles! All the best and happy lotting!

And you'll think that this site will keep so many members with only $100?I don't think so.:)

How many members? I don't understand you :) I am saying that 2 month site without paid marketing can't make 5000 members or something like that. I am saying it could make about 100 impressions for the day so this can be as good as 200$ a month or so.. It is a plus for the webmaster to optimize the site as good as he can, cause he is taking the other 50%

I don't think it is possible for a site to make so much money for 2 months of it's existence :) But I was thinking if the site makes around 200$ a month, that would be good cause when you invested that time you will have money from it with only little updates for the content. And will be lifetime.

Well I'd like to try on anything, as long it doesnt required money for writing. I enjoy writing most of my time, I even become an editor on a sports website without getting paid. So, I'd be more happy if there's a chance for me to earn money on writing.

It is okay for me for as long as I won't invest money because it would be very stressful to my part if I would invest money then wait for several vague months without any assurance of return of investment. Investing time is okay because while waiting I will also learn something along the way.

That would be very difficult for me to be able to do. The main reason is that when I am doing something and I am trying to earn some extra money, I look for the instant gratification. In fact, the reason that I'm not involved on a lot of sites is because of the fact that I really want to make sure that a site is trusted before I put a lot of my time into a site. I've seen far too many times that people have invested a lot of time to different sites and end up having nothing to show for their time.

It depends on the amount of money i would be paid. Currently I do article writings for around 1-4 dollars which pay me instantly. Writing isn't really that much of a hobby for me and I must admit, I am in for the money. If I had to wait a very long time to get paid, I may just choose something else which pays me instantly. :D

It is better to have your own website and not write for someone else. Yes, you can do it since you said you have writing skills, then having a blog or website would be easy for you.

If I have the time, why not? Seems like an interesting investment. Unfortunately, I'm not good at writing articles about financial advice...

I like writing for websites. I usually write for the ones that I know pay out and I'm doing well on the ones I use.

No, I'd have to pass on that one. Too many of these sites come and go, and you get paid nothing. There is alot of work, research, and time involved in writing articles. I sure wouldn't want to do all this and then find out the site is gone one day. If I work, I want to get paid with a well-known legitimate company. I think I would just wait to see what happens with the website first, then make a decision. My time is too precious to gamble it away.

I am currently on a site as you mention and well the long term effect is residual income, so I would have to yes I took a chance but am noticing it was well worth it.
