What gift do you give to a guy???

Ok this is really hard for me because when it comes to giving gifts to girls it is way easier for me maybe it's because I am a girl myself, but when ever I have to give a gift to a guy I have no clue what to give hima nd it's so hard I ask my brother and he's all like I don't know go figure it out yourself. Which then I can not think of anything good enough to get a gift for my dad. I always have trouble getting a gift for my dad because I don't know what he would want you know. Also everytime I ask him want do you want as a gift he just says get me what ever you want and then I am back to square one where I have no clue what to get him???
I am losing here I need some ideas I thought about watches and clothes like shirts, but now that I look back on it I have always gotten him those same gifts because I don't know what else to give him and as for my mom I think that she also has some difficulty when it comes to getting a gift for my dad and I have noticed that she always gets him colones or chocolate one or the other it is just confusing. I have also noticed that my dad gets pretty much the same gifts for my mom too chocolate and perfume I am starting to think that my dad has no clue to what to give my mom since she is a girl. We are all confused in a way I guess.
So what I want to ask is what gift would you give to a guy because I am lost as what to get my dad so any help would be pretty much appreciated so that I can get him something nice that he will like.

How about a nice comfy set of pjs, one that each time he puts them on it will remind him you got them for him.

How about really nice house slippers. I got some for hubby several years ago from LL Bean and it is time to buy new ones. They are leather and lined with sheepskin--over $40 but he wears them every day, so they were worth every penny.

A warm set of pjs during the cold winter nights is always appreciated, especially when first waking up in them and the house is quite chilly.

hi anime find out what stores he goes to and get him a gift card for that store as thats a present almost all people like and he can pick
out something he really really wants. if you know what kind of book he likes to read, a book is always a nice gift too.

Well that's easy since I know which store he loves very much and he can never go a day with out going there and that would be Lowes. I think that he would love it if I got him a gift card from there if they offer them that it is. Thank you for that great idea.

First, do you know about any of your dads interests, for example my dad loves hot and spicy foods so in the past I've gotten him hot sauces or hard to find peppers. Also he likes to cook so new appliances or pans work well. Does he like to go out to eat, get gift certificates. There are also things like gas cards, or maybe a night out with your mom, or maybe your whole family. Hopefully these ideas helped. Good luck and happy shopping.

It can be very simple task.If you know the nature of your dad and then you can make some decision.It would be a wrist watch because it is very much liked between mature peoples.It can be a cell phone or something very simple and unique.Keep thinking I am sure that you will be able to find the true gift for your dad.

Hi anime123! Getting a gift for men is not that difficult. Find what his hobbies and favorite 'toys' are. When in doubt go with something practical that helps him work,relax:tools,sportkits,&books. Stay away from clothes, decorative items(e.g. vases,statues,bumper stickers e.t.c). If its someone you care about or a boyfriend, you can buy him something that reminds him of shared or special words between two of you(e.g. chain).

It depends on your dad interest. you might know something that he likes to have. everyone will share their interest with others surely. try to remember those things and give it to him on a special day.

It may depend on what he does for a living. A guy who works in an office and behind a desk might appreciate a really nice pen set. The kind you can get in a jewelry store. If he likes to work with his hands, get him tools. If he has, say, an air compressor, get him tools that are air driven. If he drives a car, buy a really nice steering wheel cover for it, or seat covers or a floor mat. Look at the things he loves and buy accessories to go with them.

Personally, I think that the one thing to get for a guy is either a video game or a t-shirt. Unless you pick a really bad game, or a really ugly tee, there is no reason you could go wrong with either of those. :] If you know anything about your dad, just try to find a shirt that fits his personality, and if he likes video games then by all means get him a video game!

Men can be difficult to buy for. I have always found that buying cologne or after shave seems to be a good gift for any guy. Not all men are interested in the same things so it can make the decision on a gift hard. When in doubt, i always go for the cologne gift. it usually works out fore the best.

I find out his favorite store and I buy him a gift card. There's not a lot of thought behind it, but at least he can pick out whatever he wants.

Hmmm... my dad loves shoes.. Guys love'em why don't you give him a pair of leather or rubber shoes!^_^ or a wrist watch!

Well a Polo T-shirt or a cap can be a gift to a guy..Last gift I gave my guy was a jacket..That was Christmas..It's so funny because his gift also to me that time was jacket also...
