Just curious to know a few facts! Here in India the national games is Hockey but people are more interested in cricket. There are literally thousands of fans of every single player of the Indian team in here. What about you? Which sport you play or love the most in your country? Cheers!

Hello ravi! How are you? See... you and me both live in India and we knew that Cricket is the most popular sport in India. But, for me I think FIFA is far more interesting that Cricket. Cricket is only interesting at the last point of the match when the batsman used to smash the ball into boundary. But, the other time (specially at the beginning) it is really boring to watch the batsman defending the ball. Also Cricket takes almost a full day to get finished and only one match can be done per day. This is really disgusting to wait a full day just for watching a single match. In FIFA all matches are done for almost 90 minutes. Adding the extra time and half brake it last for 2 hour (120 minutes). Also it is full of excitement from the beginning to the end of a FIFA match watching for goals. Thus as there are no boredom in FIFA, I like this sport the most. (NOTE:- Cricket fans please forgive me for rudeness of my post against Cricket. I am actually a FIFA fever and dislike Cricket.) Enjoy myLot!

The national sport in our country is arnis but people here are fond in basketball. I wonder why it tends to be like that. But I can't blame those people for being like that since it depends on their interests.

Basketball is popular here. Though it's not our country's our national sport. I do like to play Tennis, I'm planning to learn it again, I just took basic lessons when I am still a kids. However, I played Taekwondo in college. I'd like to play Judo too but unfortunately, I can't find a gym that teaches one.

Football is the most famous sport in my country, but we also play rugby, tennis, golf, hockey, and many other sports as well. The thing in our country though is that only men really play sports. There are no popular women's sports in the UK apart from tennis- and even the men in that sport have more media coverage than the women do. There are women's football and rugby teams, but they don't generally get on television, whereas the men's teams do.

In my country, badminton or racket ball is the most famous sport. We often won gold medal in Olympic. And second is football/soccer. But never reach a proudly achievement, though...

There are a lot of popular sports here... Boxing, Basketball, Badminton, Billiards they are all "B". lol! :D But sad to say they still get to make sports into gambling. People really have a lot of ways to earn easy money.

Soccer is the most popular sport in my country, followed by basketball and beach volleyball. Other sports that are picking up slowly are, running, marathon, triathlon and cycling. Soccer will always remain the favourite among them all, because of the amount of exposure through local as well as overseas. Its development is being monitored closely, and there's even a dream of reaching the world cup!

We play different games although I'd have to say basketball has got to be our national sport in the Philippines. You see basketball courts everywhere. A lot of people play it, and they don't even need basketball shoes and jerseys to enjoy the sport. We are also fond of playing football, volleyball, and badminton.

I'm not into sports and I don't know what my country's national game is but people here, specially the men, love playing basketball. I think it's one of the influences of the US in our country.
