Finland has banned the use due to a possible connection to narcolepsy in children. http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/content/view/41604/ The article gives numbers then later says that there is no proof. hhmmm did you get the vaccine? feeling tired (sorry couldnt resist)?

Definitly a bit tired, but I think that it's due to it being quite late (quarter to one in the night) and I've spent most of the day watching dogs at a dog show. Carrying my camera around all day is hard work! :-) As for the H1N1 vaccine, I didn't get. I did get the flu though, I was feeling warm and tired for about half a day. I haven't had a real bad bout of flu since I was 10 so I can't be bothered to take vaccines. My father took it, but he's more than twice my age and have some heart problems. I know several people who got really sick of the vaccine, and was sick for more time then I was of the flu. So I decided I couldn't be bothered ... As for giving numbers then saying there really is not proof, that's the way most journalist treat science and research, isn't it? Very annoying.

studies like statistics can be bended to suit the person funding it.

That's the good/bad thing with statistics, if you know what you're talking about you can't really bend them. Problem is, you have to know what you're talking about and if you don't, someone with half a clue can probably convince you that white is black even though nearly everything in statistics is kind of half gray. And 20 = infinity *he he*

I never get the Flu vaccine.. I watch everyone around me get it and then promptly get sick.. I spend the winter months with barely a cold. Now If I can just get all those people to stay away from me -I'll be fine.. lol

lol I know what you mean. It makes me nervous when people coughing and sneezing show up for work. I am a bartender and so get sick people in to drink away their flu....

I did not. Actually, I don't get any flu vaccines. I have a bad tendency to get bronchitis and then pneumonia that usually starts from any cold or flu that I get, so the risk of me coming down with a mild flu FROM a vaccine is not worth it to me. The last time I got the flu I ended up with bronchitis from coughing, then pneumonia, and almost ended up in the hospital so no flu vaccines for me! I will just take my chances and try to keep away from people who are sick when flu season comes around.
