What you do when some one senior to you put you down.
This happens many times when senior subordinates try to put you down. How you tackle this kind of situation. How you convince yourself to listen them. I think some time even we have to listen even if we are not responsible. What about you. Do you like these problems to tackle. What are your views.

Most of the time I would try to just listen and be respectful. However there was this one time...my boss at work was always making fun of me for being thin. She was totally the opposite of thin! Anyway, most days I just nodded and smiled. But there was one day when several of us were in the break room and she looked at me and said, "I remember when I was that size!" She was somewhat demeaning yet kidding too. So I just looked back at her (obese body) and said, "I remember when I was that size too!" Everyone laughed so hard and she never made fun of me again!

If they are putting you down for no reason, then obviously I wouldn't like it. However, if I had done something wrong, and the person who was putting me down seemed to know more about it than I did, then of course I wouldn't mind if they put me right about something.
Sometimes however people who are more senior than you think that they have the right to put you donw just because of their position. This is not on, and they should about what they're saying and why they're saying it, before they actually say anything to people.
