Well, I just submitted my first real editing job on CloudCrowd.

Now I wait to see if I did well enough. I'm nervous! Since I have received my Editor credential I have been doing a lot of checking edits to get the hang of the site more but decided finally to try a real edit job. I took 45 minutes because I was making sure I followed ALL the instructions with track changes and all that. I think I did a good job but who knows? So now I just have to wait and see how I did. I am enjoying the site. I hope my piece is accepted. I want to do more! :)

I was about to keep my fingers crossed for you, but I can see you didn't need it! Congrats on getting approved for the editing task. Like you, I initially stuck to grading editor credential tests and reviewing edits for quite a while. But then, I bit the bullet and attempted an edit of my own --- and it went through. I still do more reviews and grading than I do edits, but I'm less anxious about edits when I do give them a go. Again, congrats on getting the thunbs-up on your first edit.

Ah, thank you! So it seems we're in the same boat as far as where we are on that site. I just get so nervous after seeing how quickly your credential rating can go down with just one mistake! I think the higher your rating is, the worse you get hit with a rejection. I can understand it, though. They are paying for quality work. I guess it will keep us on our toes! Congrats that you have been doing well with the site, too! :)

As far as I'm aware, you get hit with a dip just as hard regardless of your credential. I usually tread very carefully and keep my fingers crossed. If I'm not sure of something, I tend to skip the task altogether.

I'll definitely give that site a look as well. Oh, and I did find out that my Edit job was accepted! So there, I have earned my first good job on Cloud Crowd. I'm sorry your work has all been rejected. Maybe keep trying? You have to be very good with the written English language to do well on that site, I do know that. Keep at it and hopefully you will do better! :)

CloudCrowd is an outsource site where you can sign on to do tasks (mostly editing and categorizing of products) and get paid. It's very legit, yes, though it's not for everyone. I'll PM you with more information.

Yes, it took me quite a while to really figure out what was going on, on that site and how to use it as well. I started with the simple jobs that paid only .09 to get used to the site. My editing job was accepted though, so now I am on to the bigger jobs and making $1.65 per job! :) You might want to read the forum topics. They were very helpful to me.

i tried cloudcrowd, as well. i tried doing a task with this site. hopeful as i was, it seemed i was not good enough to edit for cloudcrowd. and that's after editing for 20-30 minutes. i'm charging it to experience. :) oh well, i hope you do get with your piece! let us know! good luck! :)

I just found out a few minutes ago that my editing piece was accepted! :) So now I'm excited to try another one, but maybe later today. I have to clean my house now, haha! Maybe keep trying, and like I mentioned above, read the forum and learn more about the site and how to use it. It took me a while to figure out and I made a few silly mistakes at first, too, but now I am getting all of my jobs performed accepted since I understand how picky they are with all the rules.
