Did anyone get to see the movie? I got a kick out of the animated movie and had to admit the little girl with the brown pigtails reminded me of Boo on Monsters Inc. Anyone else see the similarities in the two movies? I thought it quite cute and entertaining! What was your take on the movie?

I really enjoyed the movie. It was really cute and I absolutely loved Agnes (the little girl who liked unicorns). It didn't really seem to have much in common with Monsters Inc., except that the character designs of Agnes and Boo looked a little bit alike. Anyway, I loved it! Dreamworks animated films have definitely gotten much better.

I just loved the way both the little girls had that giggle and how they looked that made me think of Agnes and Boo being kind of alike in Monsters Inc No the movie was not like it I agree.

Now that I think about it... the giggle kind of was the same. The stories were very different though. Still throughly cute, though. Both of them.

I did see this movie and thought it was entertaining, but it was so over run with Masonic imagery and I was offended by the underlining concepts of authority. I long to see a movie without an agenda, but I don't think they really exists. Even Independent films (of any kind of quality) are doing someones bidding.

Sorry, I don't want to sound rude or anything... but Despicable Me is by Dreamworks not Pixar.
