2 - Russian and English. The beauty of knowing another language, is you can say something about the person in front of you in a different language, so you don't end up offending them.

You need to be really carefull when doing that because more people than you think speak russian. Back in the USSR days many african americans studdies in russian universities and to this day it becoming more and more popular as well as many russians that border china have a more asian appearance to them rather than russian and it could really bite you hard one day ... it did for me.

hi.. i am Chinese. Usually, i use 5 languages in my daily life. Mandarin is my mother tongue at home and with my friends, kantonis, english, tamil and malay in my professional life means at working place. my position is customers service department, so i have to use different languages to feedback with different back-ground customer. Mainly, I would speak in English to avoid conflict between customer and me because different language has different rules in their grammar structure.

In India so many languages are spoken and everyone will be able to speak at least 2 to 3 languages. I can speak 5 languages myself. I speak kshatra language which is my mother tongue (it is dialect) and then i can speak Marathi and Hindi. I can also speak Kannada though not fluently. English is by default known by most as it is a language spoken world wide. Also I can understand Gujarati.

hi abj163 oh I do envy you as I am only fluent in one language and that is English as I am an American in the US California. I did take some Spanish and French but am not at all fluent in either of them. Here you are bilingual. That is such a boon to be able to be fluent in three languages. Now I know they do make children learn one or two other languages in grade a nd high schools here in the US. I really should do some studying and try make myself fluent in at least Spanish as I know a lot of Spanish speaking people here in the US

I use 3 languages in my daily life. Cebuano which is what we speak in our city, most of the people i get to talk with daily are Cebuanos. 2nd is Filipino which is our national language. some of my friends both offline and online speak the language so i get to talk to them almost everyday. and the last is English..I get to use it here in myLot and in our review practices as well.

isn't cebuano a dialect, and a dialect is a subpart of a language? so technically you speak two languages and one dialect...?? :)

I just use two languages which would be spanish and english got to know those two now a days and I am glad that I know how to talk spanish since my parents know how to talk it and since they talked to me in that language a lot so now I get it and I am biliangual it's always better to know a lot of languages oh I also know a little bit of Japanese too, but I don't think that I will be able to completely learn the language.Which is a bit disappointing.

Since my mother tongue is Telugu, I speak Telugu at home and make my daughter speak it too. English, of course, is what I speak when I go out, use it online, and teach my kid too. And since I stay in a place where the local language is tamil, I speak Tamil too. Hindi is one language I don't speak but can understand. Same with French because my second language at school from my tenth std is french. I just know to read and write but spoken french is something I lack. So you could say I know three proper languages.

We primarily speak English, but I trying to integrate more spanish into my kids lives since they need a second language for school. My husband is attending Arabic classes for the military so we sometimes use that as well.

Just 3. I use three languages in my day-to-day life. I even wish I could speak and understand more languages. I mainly use Cebuano because its what almost all the people around me use. Second is English where almost all my classes requires me to speak in English particularly every time I address questions and answers. Third and last is Tagalog, my country's national language. I attend Filipino classes that uses Tagalog as its language. As much as I don't want to use and speak it, I have no choice but to. That's just about it.

I use 3 languages in my daily life. Dialect, mandarin and English in different situations. When I'm talking to my family memebers, I use dialect; When I speak to colleagues or friends, I use Mandarin. English is used in my work and in mylot because I'm an English teacher. I love learning langauges and am thinking of learning more foreign languages in the future.

Now more than ever i use all of them at work mostly ukrainian at home but now with my fiance being polish and a baby on the way we are trying to speak a mix of everything at home to be able to teach the child as well i would love to still learn french if i ever get the chance because what they teach in school here i found completely useless.
