A friend of mine told me that keeping pictures of my ex is unhealthy, but I think its a good way to remember them by. I told her just because the relationship ended didn't mean it was a bad one. I like to keep the pictures to remember all the fun times and good things that happened with that person. Do you keep pictures of your exes? Do you display them or keep them in an album?

This was quite a decision to make as my ex is my ex-husband and for he sake of the children, I stored them all away. Although he was a cruel person, I thought maybe just maybe someday they would want these pictures. So at least I have them safe somewhere, but personally I would have liked to burned them. They are not anywhere of any form of constant reminder either.

yes, I can see why you would feel that way in that situation. But the pics I have out were from a really great relationship in which I am still friends with the person. My friend, however, insists its keeping me from letting go of the relationship. I don't think she's right though.

Everyone is obssesed with destroying every memory of the ex including pictures , e-mails, letters , and so on but personally i would love for them to stay a part of my life and we are trying that with my most recent ex. both of us moved on but i feel no need to remove pictures and other stuff from him out of my life. I dont display them in frames arround the house but i keep some in an album others on facebook... there is no need to remove everything because the memory is still there

I think for me its not really nice to keep pictures from my ex because it would always remind me about her and i don't really want to remember all those things that we've been through...
