My sister has a debit card but the bank where she got it is not in my country. Can I still use it to verify my account even though it's from overseas bank? If yes, how? Thanks!

I don't think so. I think they're verifying the name of the owner, if you use your sister's debit card then the name on the debit card isn't yours therefore the validation couldn't be continued. It actually depends where you are, if you are in my country - the Philippines, you can just open an EON account card through Union Bank and the process is very easy. It is fully verified by paypal thus the facilitation is easier.

there's an option of changing the name of the account so i think i can use it to change my name into my sister's name. do you think that's just the problem about it? yeah i am from Philippines. Are you a verified paypal account user already?

Yes, I'm already verified and have been using paypal for several years now, I don't have any problems transferring mylot payments to my paypal then to my bank account here in the Philippines. I would suggest that you do not use your sister's name. It'll be complicated sooner or later when you want to get your money and you'll have to ask her permission every time. I suggest you do the ground work yourself, have the requirements and do your thing the first thing so that you won't have problems soon.

It's absolutely impossible to verify your paypal account using the debit card of your sister. Your name in paypal should exactly match the name on the debit or credit card. If not, there is no way to have your paypal account verified. To remedy the problem, one best option there is is to use Unionbank's EON Visa Electron debit card. It has two-fold functions: credit card for paypal verification and bank account for withdrawal. The article below will guide you from application to verification: http://sergspogi.hubpages.com/hub/Get-Verified-in-PayPal-Using-Visa-Electron

I would recommend getting your own debit card, and then you wouldn't have to use your sisters, I think you can get it from your local bank wherever you have a bank account.
